"What else is on your grocery list, husband?"
Jungkook's hand stilled on the can of tomato soup he was about to grab off the shelf. The title he had been given threw him off and he could do nothing but blink down at the label of the can before dragging his eyes off to the side to peer up at Taehyung.
The latter was leaning onto their shopping cart with his elbows, staring back at Jungkook with a crooked smirk and a raised brow. He wore a similar outfit to Jungkook's - a black, long-sleeved shirt that was pulled up to his elbows to reveal his wrist protectors and black cargo pants. Harnesses stretched across his chest with throwing knives shoved inside each slot and a belt with a gun and two hunting knives wrapped around his waist.
While Jungkook wore a black, short-sleeved shirt that sat snug against his chest and matching black army pants. He, too, had a weapon belt tied around his hips and wrist protectors wrapped around his forearms to protect him from potential Walker bites. Taehyung had even considered finding duct tape so that they could wrap it around their ankles to prevent walkers from biting their feet and having them be cut off. Jungkook told him no, but Taehyung had compromised and said if he did stumble upon duct tape, then they would do it.
Jungkook relented and now they were strolling through the grocery shop in the mall, grabbing onto anything they could find. Taehyung kept an eye out for duct tape, occasionally commenting on how when he's gonna find it, they could use it for something else too. Other than that, neither of them had said anything to each other while they were looking for supplies, so when Taehyung uttered the comment, it was safe to say that Jungkook was startled, even flustered.
"I don't see a ring on my finger." Jungkook shot back and twisted his attention back onto the can he was holding. He quickly checked its expiration date before twisting around on his heel to throw it into their cart. He offered Taehyung a brief glance only to whirl away a second later and stride through the empty aisle.
Taehyung hummed and rolled the cart after Jungkook, pausing to grab a packet of toilet paper off the shelf, "Fair enough, I'll make sure to get you one, my husband deserves the best." He teased the other, raising a brow when Jungkook eyed the toilet paper in the cart, "What, you don't wipe? I think I'll need to rethink marrying you." He shook his head in plastic disbelief, smirking when he noticed Jungkook's cheeks redden and the way he turned his head away to hide his embarrassment.
"Shut up." Jungkook grumbled and curled his fingers around the edge of the cart, tugging Taehyung into another aisle.
The older man snickered and left the cart standing in the middle of the aisle while he went to survey the leftover sweets on the shelves, "I'm just curious, considering I've been inside that ass." Taehyung murmured with a shrug as he grabbed a Snickers off the shelf and turned around to face Jungkook.
The latter went wide-eyed at the comment and snapped his head towards him, "You.." Jungkook stuttered with a blink of his eyes before clamping his mouth shut and walking over to Taehyung to smack him upside the head, "Keep that private." Jungkook hissed and reached out to grab some off-brand Kit-Kat from the shelf behind Tae.
