Jungkook never thought that he'd find a home behind a four metre tall fence and concrete walls, but with the help of the Woodburians, the growing group turned the place into a sanctuary for all. That's until the group was tested by a deadly virus an...

Even though he was reluctant, Gabriel successfully led the group to the nearest town. It was clear that it was completely abandoned - the streets vacant and eerily silent with not a single walker in sight. There were traces of former chaos visible in the piles of trash that littered the sidewalks and the buildings that were gradually crumbling into themselves. Soot from previously lit fires smeared the brick walls and even clothing items had been strewn on the fire exits of the apartment buildings.
The group ignored this and followed behind Gabriel as he led them to the only shop he had not ventured into. Although the group was relieved that they didn't have to fight unnecessarily, it didn't mean they let their guard down. Jungkook and Taehyung walked behind Rick and Gabriel with Michonne, Bob and Sasha trailing after them. Maggie, Glenn and Tara had broken away from the group earlier to check out some of the other buildings and Taehyung was tempted to do the same.
As they were walking through the Main Street, Bob slipped past Taehyung and Jungkook to speak to Rick, "Hey, when you said they don't get to live you weren't wrong." He wore a smile as he referred to the people at Terminus, Rick looked back at him with a quirked brow, prompting Bob to continue, "We push ourselves and let things go, then we let some more go and some more, and pretty soon, there's things we can't get back. Things we couldn't hold on to even if we tried."
Jungkook couldn't understand if Bob was against or in support of going back to kill the people at Terminus because while he said he agreed with Rick, Jungkook was sure he was currently talking about letting go of their humanity.
"Washington's gonna happen, Rick."
"I haven't decided if we're going." Rick stated and Jungkook agreed with him because there was no guarantee that Eugene could fix the world, and by traveling all the way to Washington, they would be risking someone dying along the way. That included Eugene himself.
Bob hummed in agreement, still wearing that breezy smile, "Yeah, I know. That's cool." He tilted his head towards Rick, "But you've seen Abraham in action. He's gonna get there and Eugene's gonna cure all this, and you're gonna find yourself in a place where it's like how it used to be." Jungkook shook his head at that - finding the thought funny because he couldn't imagine things going back the way they used to be, "And if you let too much go along the way, that's not gonna work 'cause you're gonna be back in the real world."
