Angel's Pov.

We got to the company late in the evening and went up to his office.

I felt like I could finally breathe again—fresh air, light shoulders. Mom was perfectly fine now.

Still, I kept glancing at my phone, waiting for a text or call from Luca.

"You really know how to get yourself worked up, tesoro," Raul said behind me, then came around to stand in front of me.

He took the phone from my hand and gently lifted my chin.

"Don't worry. When she wakes up, I'm sure he'll call right away. It hasn't even been twenty-four hours yet."

I sighed and looked away. He was right, but it didn't stop the worry from bubbling beneath my skin.

"Come on, let's get started with rehearsal," he said, and I nodded, following him to our usual practice room.

After rehearsing for hours, we took a break. We settled on the couch in the corner of the room, breathing a little easier now.

"Angel," he called.

I looked at him, waiting.

"You know you're moving in with me today, right?"

I sighed and reached for his hand. "Raul... your wife already doesn't like me. She's suspicious. If I move in with you—"

"It's my house and my choice of guests," he interrupted, his voice lowering an octave. "And we both know you're more than just a guest."

His gaze fell to my lips, making me bite them instinctively.

"But Raul... I love your condo. If we go back to your house, I won't be able to sleep in your arms again," I pouted playfully, and he chuckled.

He pulled me onto his lap, his fingers gliding over my hips.

"Trust me, tesoro, that won't be a problem," he whispered against my lips, then kissed me.

"Come on, Gustavo, just tell her already. Tell her we're married and have a child together." Davina's eyes landed on a heartbroken Felicia. Felicia turned to Gustavo.

"I–is this true?" Her voice was barely a whisper. Her eyes searched his face, hoping for denial—but instead, he gave her a pleading look.

"Listen, Felicia, I–I can explain. It's not what it looks like—"

A hard slap landed on his cheek before he could finish.

"You fucking deceived me, Gustavo! You told me you were as single as I was. You fucking lied to me!" She yelled, angry tears trailing down her cheeks.

Davina chuckled, earning a deadly glare from Gustavo.

"This—" Felicia flicked her finger between the two of them. "Is over."

Gustavo's cold demeanor returned as he pulled Felicia by the waist.

"I'm sorry, amore, but nothing is over until I say so."

Felicia glared at the arrogant man, annoyed by his nerve.

Gustavo turned his glare toward Davina. "The day I find out that child isn't mine, be rest assured—it'll be your last day on this earth."

Davina's eyes widened in fear. "What the fuck do you mean, Gustavo? You think—"

He held up a hand, silencing her.

"I won't say much. You have one week to tell the truth, Davina. Otherwise, I'll slit your sister's throat in front of you and feed her body to my dogs. And if the child is mine—Felicia will raise him."

"What?!" Davina and Felicia shouted in unison.

He looked at Felicia, then back to Davina. "You heard me. I want Felicia as my life partner. If I have a child with another woman, so be it. We'll raise him together."

"You can't be serious, Gustavo—you—"

"Your excuse was that you wanted a good father for your child?" He cut in, raising a brow. Davina squirmed under his gaze.

"You'll get to know your child, Davina. But you won't be my wife. And if I ever find out that child isn't mine... I don't care if it's in ten years or twenty... I'll kill him."

Davina always knew Gustavo was cold. But now... she realized he was something much darker.

"I almost thought that was real," Roselyn said, making everyone around cheer.

She wore a proud smile as she walked over to Raul and me.

"Mr. D'Amano, that was perfect. I loved it."

Raul nodded with a relaxed expression, though he didn't smile.

I've seen him laugh—really laugh—when it's just us. Sometimes I wonder why he doesn't let the world see that part of him.

Then Roselyn's eyes landed on me, and she pulled me into a warm hug.

"I knew you'd be perfect for this, Angel. I knew you'd help make my dream come true."

Her voice cracked a little, getting emotional, and I smiled softly before she threw her arms tighter around my neck.

"It's my job, Roselyn. The credit still goes to you for writing such an artwork."

She thanked me, then turned toward my co-actress.

"Thanks, Davina—"

We all burst into laughter at Jade's reaction.

"It seems like my role is taking a toll on you, Ms. Roselyn," Jade teased, and Roselyn face-palmed dramatically.

"I'm so sorry—Jade."

"It's fine, Ms. Roselyn. I'm just really grateful to be part of the cast for The Black Week," she said with bright eyes.

We'd been shooting for ten hours straight, polishing that intense scene until it was flawless.

"Caramella," Raul's husky voice whispered in my ear as he slid an arm around my waist, pulling me into his body.

"Mmh?" I hummed in response.

"It's time for us to go. Don't forget—you still have to pack."

I sighed, remembering I was moving into his house today.

"Alright, let me say goodbye to Jade and grab my stuff."

He let go of my waist, and I walked over to where Jade stood, chatting with Hunter.

"Jade."

She turned, smiled, and immediately threw her arms around my neck.

"Thank you so much, Angel, for convincing them to let me audition," she said warmly.

I smiled. "I can tell you're really loving the villain role."

"Oh, absolutely," she giggled. "I get to be Davina—a one-night fling with the big, bad mafia boss, and I'm the one getting in the way of his epic love story? That's so cool."

She clapped her hands excitedly and gave me a side hug.

"I'm glad you're enjoying it," I said as she held my hands and gave them a gentle squeeze.

"Seriously, thank you, Angel," she said, looking me dead in the eyes, her gratitude unmistakable.

"No problem, Jade. Hey—do you wanna hang out sometime? When we're both free?"

Her eyes lit up. "Yes, of course! But just know... the bills are on you."

I rolled my eyes and chuckled. "Yeah, yeah. I figured."

We hugged one last time, and I left to gather my things.
