New neighbourhood

Isla's pov

"Izzie let's go," my mom said and walked out of my room that only had boxes and a mattress on the floor

"PUPPIES" I screamed running down the stairs

"No puppy" my mother replied and I laughed

"And remember the only things I'm going for this dog is watching it when you are at school and paying for stuff the rest is on you"

"Ok!" I replied

"After we get him can we go to the pet store because I wanted him to pick his new toys so we don't get them ones they don't like" I replied then my mom said sure and we left

Once we got there all the puppies just immediately jumped on me excitedly so I sat down and started to play with them

After a few minutes, I noticed one laying in the corner by itself so I got up and tried to walk over to it but before I could the owner stopped me

"Be careful with that one he tends to bite and pee on people when they get too close" the woman replied

So I slowly walked over and sat down beside him "hey buddy what are you doing here by yourself and not with your brothers and sisters"

Then I slowly started to pet him and he climbed into my lap

So I put him up and hugged him and he started repeatedly licking my face so I giggled then I put him down and he ran over to get a toy then ran back to me and showed me some tricks he could do before giving me the toy

Then we played for a bit before my mom said we had to go

"Mom, can we get this one?" I asked picking him up again and walking over to my mom

"Are you sure you want this one?" my mom said

"I'm sure" I replied then we walked over to the lady

"Well I see he likes you he's never been this kind and gentle with anyone before," she said and I smiled and grabbed his stuff like a couple of toys a little bit of food etc

Then after my mom paid for him we got into the car and drove to the pet store

He ran around with me beside him and picked out lots of different treats, bones and toys he also picked himself a bed

Then we went back home and I gave him some dinner before my mom ordered a pizza
