After the movie, Isla left despite lily begging but she promised to come back soon and I hope she was telling the truth
I walked upstairs after I had finished cleaning up our fort and decided to get ready for the day I put on my white hot top converse (the best shoe) and then pair them with black ripped jeans as well as a black crop top
Just as finishing the last curl I put in my hair the doorbell rang and then lily did her happy excited scream and ran to the door
"Hi Pumpkin," my mom said picking up lily as I walk down the stairs to say hi
"Hey mads" my mom smiled and hugged me with the one arm that wasn't holding lily
"Ugh I missed you girls so much," my mom said putting Lily down
"So what's been going on," she said walking over to the couch
"Maddy has a girlfriend," Lily said pointing at me and I blushed
"What no I don't" I replied still blushing
"Ooo explain," my mom said she has us at a very young age shes was more like a best friend to me than a mother
"There's nothing to explain she's straight so it doesn't matter" I said looking down at my feet
"Lily care to explain" she asked and lily nodded her head
"Maddy has a crush on a girl named issie and she would show up to every single one of maddys soccer games so we called her soccer girl then she moved and came to maddys school and she said hi and her new house is like 5 away from ours so when her and her mom were saying hi to everyone she came here and I gave her a house tour and then she got her dog over here and we watched a lot of movies and make a fort down her and she had a sleepover then when I woke up maddy was hugging issie when they we're still sleeping and that's it" she said
"Ok have to actually asked her if shes straight or not or did you just assume?"
"Assume" I reply
"Ok so that means I think she likes you as well"
"What no that's crazy she's way too out of my league"
"Don't say things like that your beautiful Madison"
"Not compared to her" I replied
"Let's go" she said standing up picking lily up with her
"What? Where"
"Her house"

"Yup Let's go"
