Madison's pov
I know it's stupid but I wanted her to be talking about me
When we got home I just went straight upstairs I can't believe she had a boyfriend how much of an idiot am I for thinking she'd ever look at me like more than a friend
"Hey honey can I come in" I heard my mom say from the other side of the door
"Ya" I replied then she opened the door to me just laying on my bed and walked over
"What happened back there," she said sitting on the end of my bed
"Nothing it's fine"
"You don't look fine"
"I am just a little disappointed," I said sitting up
"What happened?"
"Isla has a boyfriend" I sigh
"Oh honey I'm sorry how about this Ellie gets home later so why don't I go to the store and buy way too much candy and ice cream and then the 4 of us will watch movies and play board games for the rest of the night" my mom smiles she always knows how to make me feel better
It Still kind of makes me sad though because that was the last thing I did with isla before I found out she had a boyfriend
