"Did we just...uh..." Jay stuttered after a tense moment of silence, the four ninja looked to themselves for comfort.
"Return to the future?" Kai finished Jay's sentence "This feels familiar, but weren't we training [Name] and Lloyd?" Cole said looking around the training room.
Zane gasped "The future was altered and there is no green and purple ninja" He stated. They all let both their arms and heads down, the thought of not having the two kids there anymore made their moods turn sorrow.
The team snapped their heads to the door, as Lloyd and [Name] ran in "Sorry we're late, guys" Said Lloyd panting slightly as he ran a hand through his hair "I'm not really but go off, I guess" They spoke, a grin on [Name]'s face as they twirled a finger, a trace of purple energy following, Lloyd shook his head at them "Are we ready to get training?"
"Ha! You're still here!" Kai smiled, cheering softly as they huddled around the two kids, who now weren't as much of kids like before, bringing them into a hug.
"We'll never take you for granted ever again!" Jay sobbed with a chuckle as he laid his head on [Name]'s shoulder, the Oni let out a dramatic gasp "You took us for granted?! How dare you, Jay!" They exclaimed flicking his forehead, receiving a 'ow!' from the guy.
"Uh, yeah we're still here. Why wouldn't I be?" The green ninja asked confused as to Kai's statement earlier "Yeah, I know we were late, but did you already think we died?" [Name] added.
"So when we went back in time and destroyed Garmadon's mega weapon, that didn't change anything?" Jay inquired as the team separated, Kai went to grab a watermelon from the floor, still holding his sword in one hand.
"Garmadon had a mega weapon?"
"My father has a Mega Weapon?"
The two prophesied ninja questioned simultaneously, Kai raised a brow "Oh, wait a minute, you've never heard of it?" He threw up the melon cutting it in the air, the slice ended up in the others hands.
"I-I think I would've remembered that. Why? What is it? Should I be concerned?" Lloyd asked eyes wondering around the four ninja who started laughing.
[Name] crossed their arms letting out a huff "They never tell us anything" You complained to Lloyd who nodded "Hey, what are you guys laughing at? What's so funny?" He narrowed his eyes before rolling them. Throwing up the watermelon slice he carved it into a dragon while it was still in the air.
