Then thrice, then again. The Buizel was trying pretty hard to get out of that pokéball. After about 20 seconds of shaking, it stopped. The button on the front of the ball glowed red and gave a satisfying "ping". Yes! I caught a Buizel! I had no time to send it out now though. I just hoped it would calm down in its Dream World.
Ah yes, I haven't explained the Dream World. A long time ago (no, this not a fairy tale), as in 80 years or so, pokéballs were a lot less advanced than they are now.
Basically, the pokémon just sat in their pokéballs, idle, and definitely bored to death. But a group of researches managed to produce a pokéball that completely changed the way things worked. They wanted the pokémon to be happy. They designed a pokéball, that once the pokémon was returned to it, would be put in a coma, with controlled dreams. In fact, the scientist who came up with the idea was the current owner of Cresselia. The dreams, or singular, dream (it was the same for all pokémon), was of it living in the wild, in a place where humans didn't exist and food was just berries, apricots and other fruits. Even for carnivores. The pokémon would have no memory of the actual world. When the trainer touched the pokéball, the pokémon would snap out of its coma, with no memory of the dream whatsoever. After a wild pokémon is caught, there is a 50% chance that it will forget about its past life.
I didn't exactly want the Buizel to forget, but I just hoped that it wouldn't be agitated when I let it out of its pokéball later. I hooked the pokéball to my belt, and slowly treaded forward. In my peripheral vision, I saw a classmate of mine pass by, about 200 metres to my left. As I walked under a large tree branch, I heard noises of something moving fast. I swiftly backtracked to try and see what it was, when I bumped into something. No, someone. I turned around to find Callida standing there with a look of surprise on her face.
"Whoa!" she exclaimed. "I didn't even see you coming!"
I simply shrugged.
"How is it that of all people, I bump into you?"
"I have no clue", I replied. "Anyway, have you caught any pokemon yet?
A wide grin spread across her face. "I sure have! Check this out - go Beldum!"
Holy Miltank. She had a Beldum. No, it couldn't have been a Sewaddle or a Scatterbug (no offense guys). Of course not. It had to be a freaking Beldum.
"Why are you so surprised? Haven't caught one yourself?"
Now it was my turn to smile. "Actually, I have a Buizel". My hand had almost reached its pokeball, when I remembered how much it tried to resist being caught. My smile quickly faded away.
"Uhh, about that. Its not exactly cooperative."
"Really? Mine was pretty easy to catch."
An easily caught Beldum. What next? Celebi?
"But, erm..."
"What?"
"Never mind."
I glared at her.
"Okay, okay, fine. Blazewind fainted in the process. Its a good thing I had a few Revives and some Berry Juice."
I struggled to keep the smirk from spreading across my face.
"I would stay and battle, but since we have only a few hours left, I gotta go!"
With that said, she ran in the direction opposite to where I was going. Apollo was pretty beaten up, so I really hoped that we would be able to catch another pokemon. I couldn't use the Buizel because I didn't know if it would obey me, and it was at a dangerously low HP level. Me being the genius I am, I didn't bring even a single healing item. Maybe, hopefully, I would find an Oran or a Sitrus Berry Bush along the way.
I figured Apollo would get tired the longer we walked, and if I put him in the pokeball, it would be a waste of time when I was trying to catch something. So instead of searching for a pokemon, I would sit down somewhere and wait for the pokemon to come to me.
I looked around, and saw a fairly large boulder with a flat, smooth top. I climbed on top of it and made myself comfortable. Apollo just sat down next to it. I couldn't wait for my next encounter.

Yippee! I'm done with this chapter. I wanted to write a longer one, but I had a tough time writing this one. I never really knew what Writer's Block felt like, but now I do. I struggled to frame sentences, and didn't know what to write next. I edited it like a thousand times and I'm still extremely unhappy with it!!! But on the brighter side. We're almost at 500 views ^_^. Yay!!! I hope you guys enjoy the chapter, even though it wasn't very good to me. Cheers!
