Chapter Nineteen

Clotted Cream walked through the hallway along with Madeleine following from behind, trying to catch up with Clotted Cream. Clotted Cream couldn't help but chuckle,  Madeleine sort of reminded him of a puppy trying its best to follow along with his owner. The idea of that sounded cute as Clotted Cream thought of it, he then slowed down his pace as he used his tethers to pull Madeleine, helping the other walk aside him.

Madeleine smiled pleasantly as he uttered a soft thank you, he then questioned, "So, Clotted Cream, where will be going?"

"We'll be going to your room of course," Clotted Cream answered swiftly, "I've brought all the things to your room."

"What things?" Madeleine questioned in confusion, Clotted Cream blinked as he stared at Madeleine for a second. Madeleine then lit up as he understood, "Ohhh! Those things!"

"That's right....your new uniform and weapons." Clotted Cream restated as he smiled a little bit.

Madeleine then blinked in confusion again, "Weapons?..."

"You'll see," Clotted Cream just said with a nod as he led Madeleine and him to Madeleine's room, Madeleine could just blink in curiosity of the weapons Clotted Cream spoke of. Finally, the two entered Madeleine's room and Clotted Cream opened the door using an...council key he still had on his tether, "After you." 

Madeleine blinked in curiosity as he stared at Clotted Cream tethers, "Hey...how many tethers do you have?"

"Hm?" Clotted Cream blinked at the question, letting all his tethers spread a little behind him, "I have four." He had two tethers rise on the top, which had dragon heads on the ends, but the bottom two tethers didn't have dragon heads on their ends, instead, there were the same old council keys that Clotted Cream originally had before he became Darkness Grand Duke, The color of the keys was just more of a pale dull gold.

"Four? How come the bottom ones don't have...dragon heads?" Madeleine questioned curiously as he crouched down, poking one of the council keys.

Clotted Cream stared at Madeleine quietly as he let his bottom right tether wrap around Madeleine's wrist and pull him back up to stand, "I think having two animals to deal with is enough...plus...you know how I said about that creature did that...certain affect on me as well?" Madeleine nodded quietly as he knew what Clotted Cream talking about, "Well...let's say I didn't give the creature the chance to complete it." And with that Clotted Cream just winked with his normal eye and smiled as he entered the room and pulled Madeliene along.

Madeleine bit his lip nervously as he wondered what-- could have exactly Clotted Cream done way beforehand. Huh, Madeleine then thought about the way the creature was spouting words at Clotted Cream before. Something related to...viber and deceiver. Ohhhh, Madeleine blinked as he realized more. Now he didn't want to know.

"What do you think?" Clotted Cream then snapped Madeleine out of his thoughts, Madeleine looked up as he took a look at what was in front of him.

"You brought a whole mannequin"  Madeleine exclaimed in awe, there was a mannequin displayed in front of him, wearing the uniform that Madeleine was probably going to wear as his new 'dark side' uniform. "Woah... pointy..." He poked at the small devil wing that was attached to the side of a belt.

"Where else am I supposed to display it?" Clotted Cream questioned as he shrugged, Madeleine blinked staring at the sword and shield displayed alongside the mannequin as well.
