Ch. 2 You want to be friends with me

Upstairs, Liv enters her bedroom, closes the door, and runs towards her cell phone. She grabbed the phone and pressed the green button, putting the device against her right ear.

" Hey, Lily!" Liv brightly smiled. " Guess what! I got accepted to Elk Creek University!" She shouts, looking happy.

" Me too!" Lily shouted in response.

" Kyaaa!" Liv and Lily screamed, excited to attend the same University in the Fall.

" Hey. What are you going to do today?" Lily asked.

" Knowing my Uncle Pete and Auntie Peg. They are going to throw me a big party at their place." Liv amusingly shakes her head. " Wanna come?" She asked.

" What kind of question is that? Of course, I'll come!" Lily responded, and the two teens laughed.

" Have you spoken to Jackson lately? Does he know you plan to attend College to get a BA?" Lily asked.

Liv turns around to stare at a poster in her bedroom. The sign consists of a seventeen-year-old male wearing a yellow jumpsuit with the name PowerLine under it. And next to him is a beautiful seventeen-year-old female resembling Liv wearing a blue jumpsuit named Electricity.

It has been a year since Liv befriended PowerLine, who goes by Jackson Campbell in private. The two met during the summer when Jackson performed in Los Angeles for his hottest Summer Singles. His crew mistook Liv for a small-time guest singer and got her dressed in a blue jumpsuit.

" Jackson. I want you to meet-" Jackson's manager, Ricardo, glanced at Liv, wanting to know her name.

" I'm Olivia Goof. But, I go by Liv." Liv introduced herself.

" And she's a small-time performer. You know, wanting to make it big and all." Ricardo spoke over Jackson, who wanted to introduce himself to Liv.

Liv's blue-violet eyes widened. She didn't expect to perform in front of a live audience. She only sang and danced for fun. She looked at Jackson and saw him looking at her with a friendly gaze.

" It's okay. Just have fun. I know it gets scary when performing for a big crowd. I mean, I have been performing for a year now." Jackson awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck.

" Go and get dressed, Jackson. PowerLine needs to go on stage." Ricardo motioned the make-up and costume crew to drag Jackson away so that he could get ready to perform.

" You. Wait for PowerLine. Your name will be Electricity. Your character is an Alien Princess from the Xelan Empire. You two fought as enemies, became friends, and then fell in love." Ricardo explained.

Liv looked at Ricardo with mixed emotions. She heard footsteps and turned to see Jackson in his PowerLine persona entering the room. Her blue-violet eyes widened when she saw how the two looked oddly different.

" Ready to have fun!" Jackson held his gloved hand out to Liv.

' Dad. Max. Wherever you are. I hope you guys don't get into trouble.' Liv internally speaks.

" I'm ready! I'll follow your lead." Liv grabs Jackson's gloved hand, and the two leave the room to go on stage.

Liv and Jackson performed on stage as Electricity and PowerLine, and the duo became quite a hit with the fans. Even some saw the chemistry between the two and began to ship them and call themselves The Power Trix.

Midway, Goofy appeared on stage, grabbing Liv and Jackson's attention. The duo decided to dance alongside him, causing everyone in the stadium to scream in delight. Then Max slides in, and the concert ends, becoming a huge success and giving Liv and even Jackson more stardom.

" You're a natural! You should consider being a singer." Jackson smiled while walking with Liv to the dressing rooms with Max and Goofy, getting escorted out of the stadium by security.

Liv akwardly smiles. " Thank you. But I don't see myself being famous. I like to live in normalcy." She looks at Jackson. " Is my Dad and baby brother going to be okay?" She asked, looking concerned.

" I'll speak to Ricardo. He'll have them out in an instant." Jackson reassured.

" Thank you! And, um, sorry for crashing your concert." Liv blushes, looking embarrassed.

" No need to apologize. Today was entertaining." Jackson smiled.

" This summer is going to be one I will never forget." Liv amusingly giggled.

Jackson's dark brown eyes intently stared at Liv. " Can we, um, stay connected?" He asked.

Liv looks at Jackson in disbelief. " You want to be friends with me?" She asked.

" Yeah." Jackson nodded.

Liv pulls out her cell phone, and the two teens exchange contacts.

" I have you as Trixie." Jackson winked.

" And I have you as Jackson. Our little secret." Liv giggled.

" It was nice meeting you! We should hang out sometime. I will get Ricardo to help your Dad and brother out." Jackson waved goodbye and watched Liv step inside the dressing room.

" Thank you! It was nice meeting you too!" Liv waved goodbye, watching Jackson leave.

" Jackson knows I plan to attend Elk Creek University because I want to have a degree in Psychology," Liv remembered. " But, he is currently on tour, so I don't know where he is at." She murmured.

" You should tell Jackson that you got accepted!" Lily giggled.

" Maybe later," Liv promised. " I should get ready for the party. I'll see you at my Uncle's place." She and Lily hang up.

At the market, Peg was putting alot of stuff in the cart while Pete was texting people, inviting them to his niece's College acceptance party.

Pete's dark brown eyes blinked when he saw Jackson's name on his contacts. He remembered meeting him in January for Liv's eighteenth birthday party and how they met in the summer at a PowerLine concert.

' Ah! I should invite Liv's boyfriend. She said that he is in abroad studying. So, I know she would be happy to have him come to her party. If he loves her, he will find a way to show up.' Pete internally speaks, and he sends an invite to Jackson.

On the road in an RV, Jackson receives a text message from Liv's Uncle. His dark brown eyes widen when he reads that Pete is hosting a College acceptance party for Liv.

" She got in! I knew she would get accepted to Elk Creek University." Jackson smiled, feeling proud of Liv. " Armando! Take this exit. We are going to make a detour to Rosefield!" He shouts.

' I am so glad Ricardo isn't in here. He wouldn't have let me go.' Jackson internally speaks. He glanced at his phone's wallpaper of him as PowerLine and Liv as Electricity and smiled, looking excited to see Liv.
