Ch.7 Arriving at Santa Barbara

The RV leaves the highway and drives through Santa Barbara to a hotel called Hyatt Place Santa Barbara.

Armando parks the RV near the entrance to drop off Jackson, Liv, and Lily since the three teens will spend the night at the hotel after the concert before returning to the road to Elk Creek University.

" This place looks so cool! It has such a unique paradise-like aesthetic. It's like I have gone to the tropics instead of being in a city." Lily steps out of the RV, pulls her camera from her bag, and takes pictures of her surroundings.

Liv and Jackson stepped out of the RV and smiled at Lily's excitement.

" I'll see you guys in the morning. Have fun and stay safe," Armando steps out of the RV and helps the three teens take their luggage out of the vehicle.

" Thank you, Armando! See you in the morning," Liv smiled and waved goodbye to Armando.

" See you soon, Armando!" Jackson smiled and waved goodbye to Armando.

" Bye, Armando! Thanks for driving us to Santa Barbara safe and sound," Lily smiled and waved goodbye.

Armando gets inside the RV, waves goodbye, and drives away since he is going to a rest area nearby since he will sleep inside the vehicle for the night.

" Let's check-in," Jackson turns to Liv and Lily.

" Yeah!" Liv and Lily smiled, excited to spend the day in Santa Barbara.

The three teens stepped inside the hotel and checked in. Liv and Lily will share a room, while Jackson has a room to himself. They entered the rooms and made themselves comfortable.

" Cute! Gives me beachy vibes," Lily looked at her surroundings.

" We are near the beach," Liv walked toward the balcony doors, opened them, and stepped onto the balcony. She looked forward and saw people enjoying the nearby restaurants and beach.

" Wait!" Lily shouts, grabbing Liv's attention. " Don't move. Let me take a picture of you," She holds her camera and begins to take pictures of her best friend looking beautiful with the sunset behind her.

Liv blushes, getting embarrassed, but smiles nonetheless. Her blue-violet eyes blinked when she heard a knock on the front door.

" Lily. Someone is knocking on the door. It must be Jackson," Liv looks at Lily.

Liv walks past Lily, enters the room, and walks towards the front door. She opens it and sees Jackson standing in the hallway.

" Hey. You two ready to eat and sightsee?" Jackson asked.

" Yes! We are ready!" Lily grabs her and Liv's purses.

" Yeah. We are ready," Liv nodded.

" Great!" Jackson smiled. " I know this great Mexican restaurant not that far from here," He steps back so Liv and Lily can leave the room.
