Liv and Lily leaned back, closed the window, and they sat down, making themselves comfortable. Lily pulls out her laptop from her backpack and looks at Jackson.
" Hey, Jackson. Does the RV have wifi?" Lily asked, looking curious.
Liv turns her gaze to Jackson, looking curious.
Jackson turned his gaze to Liv and Lily and nodded.
" Yeah. The username is Jack_RV, and the password is Summer_1998!" He responded.
" Sweet! Thank you. I wanted to email my advisor so I can ask them what classes are available for my Education degree," Lily says while turning on her laptop.
Liv turns her gaze to Lily.
" You do know on orientation day, the advisors at Elk Creek are going to help us find the days and times suitable for us to take our classes," Liv reminded Lily.
Lily lifts her head and looks at Liv with mixed emotions.
" It's better to be safe than sorry," Lily awkwardly laughs.
Liv knew Lily was worried she wouldn't find the classes with the days and times she wanted.
" Alright. I will let you do your thing," Liv lightly pats Lily's shoulder, and she stands, causing Jackson to look at her.
" Where's the bathroom?" Liv asked.
" I'll show you the bathroom that you and Lily will be sharing," Jackson stands and walks with Liv to the back of the RV.
" This RV is spacious," Liv looked at her surroundings.
" Yeah. It's like a house on wheels," Jackson chuckled. He stops walking and opens the door. " That's the bathroom you and Lily will be using. Mine is over there," He points to the bathroom adjacent to theirs.
" Cool. Cool," Liv nodded. She got inside the bathroom and closed the door behind her.
Jackson turns around and walks back to the middle, sitting on the couch across from Lily.
Lily glanced at Jackson and nodded. She looks away and continues typing her email to her advisor. " The drive to Elk Creek University in Los Angeles is six hours. So, where will you perform before your last performance of the tour, which is in Los Angeles?" Lily asked.
" We are going to stop by Santa Barbara, five hours from here and an hour from Los Angeles," Jackson responded.
" Cool! We can go sightseeing at Santa Barbara before you perform," Liv says, grabbing Jackson and Lily's attention.
Jackson and Lily turned their gaze, seeing Liv wiping her wet hands with her skirt since there was no paper towel inside.
" I should buy paper towels when we get to town," Jackson murmured.
" It's okay. No need," Liv reassured. " So, what do you say? Want to go sightseeing when we stop by Santa Barbara?" She asked while sitting down next to Lily.
Lily and Jackson looked at each other and then at Liv. " Sounds like a plan!" Jackson smiled.
" I cannot wait to take so many pictures and videos of our time there! That way, people can see our memories when visiting our dorm," Lily smiled.
Liv nodded, looking excited to spend time with Jackson and Lily.
Five hours later, Liv looked out the window, watching the cars drive by since the RV was still on the highway. Her blue-violet eyes blinked when she heard chatting to her right. She looks away and turns to see Lily and Jackson arguing about music, such as which genre is better.
" Country is better!" Lily firmly speaks.
" It's Pop and R&B that's better," Jackson retorted.
" Country Music is romantic. The Country Artists sing with their heart and soul," Lily argued.
" I also sing with my heart and soul," Jackson remarked.
" What are you two arguing about?" Liv asked with a raised eyebrow.
" Which music genre is better?" Lily and Jackson turned their gaze to Liv.
" Pop and Jazz are better," Liv responded, causing Lily and Jackson to look at her with mixed emotions.
" Explain," Jackson stared.
" One of my favorite artists. Beside you, Jackson is Nat King Cole. He has such a sweet melodious voice," Liv smiled.
" I can't complain. Nat King Cole is one of my idols," Jackson nodded. " Which song of his do you like?" He asked.
" L-O-V-E," Liv's gaze softened. " That song was my Mom and Dad's wedding dance song. I want to dance to that song when I get married someday," She smiled.
" Aww. That's cute. I didn't know your Dad and Mom danced to that song," Lily smiled.
Jackson nodded.
" Dad always played that song ever since Mom passed away to think about her," Liv remembered.
" I asked him if that song gives him bad memories or makes him sad when he thinks of Mom. But he says that this song gives him good memories because Mom would have wanted him to remember her positively," Liv turns her gaze to the window and looks at the birds fly.
Lily and Jackson looked at each other and then at Liv.
" You know my Dad gave me a high expectations when it comes to finding a guy I want to be with in the future," Liv smiled. " I want to be with a guy who is funny, respectable, caring, loyal, intelligent, good to those around him, and a good listener," She turns her gaze to Lily and Jackson.
Jackson's dark eyes intently stared at Liv's blue-violet eyes.
" Your Dad is a good guy and funny too. So, I understand why you want to be with someone similar to him," Lily smiled.
Jackson opens his mouth to say something, but he gets cut off by Armando. The older male informed the three teens that they had arrived safely in Santa Barbara.
" Sweet!" Jackson smiled.
" That's great! I have to let my folks know," Liv pulls out her cell phone and begins to text her family.
" Same here!" Lily pulls out her cell phone and begins to text her family.
Jackson looked at Liv and Lily and smiled, excited to spend time with them in Santa Barbara.
