Last night was the best night of my life. Finally I could put a name to a face and I even got to dance with her. I loved the way she could respond and though it was rejecting, I couldn't help but want more to do with her. I could get any girl I want but she was the only thing I wanted right now. There was something about her that made her different. She made me feel differently; she gave me a feeling that I've never felt before. I wanted to see more of her, spend more time with her and get to know her. A carnal feeling possessed me when I saw all those men eye-fucking her. I wanted to gouge their eyes out because no one should be looking at MY woman!
I woke up feeling determined; a man on a mission. Today I would begin my task of following her and becoming more involved in the clique to get closer to her. That's it! I thought. I knew just how I was gonna woo her, the clique. That was the answer right in front of me. And I knew exactly what I was gonna do first. Soon I was dialing Michael's number.
Me: hey dude
Mic: Whats up man?
Me: do you guys have plans for lunch tomorrow?
Mic: nah bro, not that I know of why?
Me: well, I wanted all of us to go to lunch, of course on me.
Mic: well, free food what reason's there not to come?
Me: you still haven't changed a bit man, I said chuckling. Okay find out about the others oh and maybe we can go to the fair afterwards?
Mic: sounds like a plan. Where to meet at?
Me: Rocky's at 1pm?
Mic: short bro
Me: cool bro see ya!
Tomorrow couldn't come sooner...
Storm's pov
So Michael calls and says we have plans today. He told me to cancel my afternoon schedule despite knowing that I work on the weekends because we are going to lunch thereafter the fair. When he told me that lunch was on Christian, I wished I didn't agree to go. Groaning internally, I made sure to take my time in getting ready and preparing myself mentally for the misery that lay ahead of me. Lunch was the least to say interesting . Anyone could see that Christian Gabriel was a ladies man. His cockiness, arrogance, pickup lines, charm and good looks would leave women wanting after his attention but me? I kept quiet unless I threw in a few comebacks to deflate his already big ego.
He had gotten all the ladies a single red rose. I rolled my eyes at him. "What's wrong? Don't you like the flower cara mia?" he said to me when he saw me give mine to Bell. No, I don't like flowers especially red roses. Couldn't you be more original? Frowning, he said to me "well, is it not the thought that counts tesoro? Besides, which girl doesn't like flowers? It's okay Storm, I know you secretly love it, you don't have to pretend, you know" throwing a wink my way. Oh I don't need to pretend, Christian Gabriel. Tsk tsk, I'm not like other girls as I thought you would've noticed by now seeing as how I'm immune to your lame antics, trying to be all charming. And red roses are so cliche and lame and here I thought maybe you had some standards .
"Such feistiness, Storm...Ooh I like it mia gattina" he said licking his lips and flashing me his billion dollar smile and Michael looks at us and coughs, making everyone laugh. I scowl at him and turn to find Antonio staring at me, sitting at a table across ours. I excused myself to the lavatory with Bell and Jess in tow behind me when Bell saw Antonio staring at me and Jess got the picture, making both accompany me.
"Daaaaaamn girl, looks like you got you an admirer. Gabe can't seem to take his eyes off of you" says Bell giving me a look that I know all too well. "yeah, the dude seems to have it bad for you- starts Jess just as I cut her off. Stop right there before y'all start thinking stuff that aint necessary. He thinks he's all that, that any girl would fall for him but he doesn't know me yet. I'm gonna give him a run for his money .now let me go do just that, I say smirking evilly.
With confidence, I strut out of the bathroom and as I make my way to the table with the girls, I see Antonio approach me. "Hello Bella, I didn't know that you would be here today", he says taking my hands in his and kissing them. I flash him my sexy smile that makes all the men weak at their knees. Out of the corner of my eye, I see the entire table watching this scene and Christian Gabriel De'Luca seems angry and jealous. Well Toni, I guess we were just meant to see each other today, I say still smiling. I lean forward and kiss Toni's cheeks slowly and seductively and flash him the sweetest smile I can manage. Christian Gabriel starts coughing so we turn to face everyone at the table and the girls are looking at me with knowing smiles and the guys seem to be amused.
Well guys, it was nice seeing you all but I must take your leave now. Antonio and I have some catching up to do, I say sweetly. As I turn to leave, taking my purse, Antonio tucks my arm in his and before exiting out the door, I turn around one last time and wink at Christian Gabriel who looks at me with a gaping mouth and then scowls as the others start laughing. I couldn't help but laugh along too.
