Today is Thursday. I'm pretty excited. Thursdays are dance days and I perform at my club. Sometimes my friend Alex would join me in my dances since he's a dancer too and people always think we're a couple. That we're so in sync with each other and the chemistry that emits from our performances is hot. We always laugh at them. Alex short for Alexander is 30 years old with brown hair and grey eyes. He's tall, fit, lean and has a grace that's enchanting. We met when I was at a club and having a dance off with some random guy. I felt eyes on me that night and ignored it. After the hot dance-off I went back to the bar and ordered a dirty martini. Suddenly a man appeared by my side and asked if the seat next to me was taken and when I said no, he wasted no time in sitting down. He asked me what I thought about dancing with him and that if I would at least check out his dance class. Since he had persisted I agreed and maybe also because I was slightly curious.

So I joined his class and when we danced together, it was like magic. He taught me a lot and we became friends. However, he wouldn't make it tonight since something came up but that didn't deter the smile that claimed my face.

I was excited too because I was going to see Michael, Isabella and Jesse my other besties who I haven't seen in a while, frowning as I thought about it especially David since he's been out of town for work. We made it a tradition to meet up on Thursdays at the club if we didn't see each other in the week because work could get really hectic. Also because they loved watching me perform at the club. I loved the dancing. There was something about dancing and drowning yourself in the music and getting lost in the rhythm that drove me to insanity. It was an insanity that I welcomed gladly. It was in those moments when I was dancing, I could be carefree, forget about all that happened and focus on the feeling coursing through me without worrying about what's next to come. I was free; unshackled by the chains of my past and I could let go without a care.

Anyways, Michael owned his own architect company Robertson' Ltd, Isabella has a wedding planner business the famous Dream Come True Inc., Jesse worked as a COO for Forbes industries and David, well he took over his family business as CEO of the Wright firm and was a lawyer. Michael and I met at Times Square, Cake Boss Café. It had been the first day I arrived in New York.

Flashback

I was sitting outside people watching whilst waiting for my order.Grrrr my stomach growled as the sweet smells infiltrated my nostrils and almost making me moan as the mouth-watering smells were like having a mouthgasm. So engrossed in my thoughts, I didn't hear anything until the scraping sound of a chair in front of me brought my attention to the yummy man staring my way. "Hello? I asked if this seat was taken" I quickly cleared my throat and answered "no, you may sit if you'd like". It was sunny so I was wearing stone washed ripped shorts that came mid-thigh with a black three quarter off-the-shoulder top that had Parental Advisory: Explicit Content in pink with my converse. I looked decent somewhat. "A penny for your thoughts?"  No thanks I respond.

He stood up and proffered his hand towards me "Hi I'm Michael, Michael Robertson." Hi, I'm Storm, Storm Hunter, I say shaking his hand firmly. "Wow strong hand you got there. So you got firm hands huh?" He smirked at me. Well he asked for it so I'm gonna give it to him. Of course yes, wanna know where else I'm firm? I retort with a smirk and look satisfied that his mouth is gaping wide and he's shocked into silence. Then I burst out laughing.

Soon he got his game back and talked, as he continued to flirt shamelessly with me, then when I was ready to go, he asked to exchange digits. We texted and talked on the phone, going out for coffee and such when one afternoon he invited me out with him and his friends so I agreed and from then we've been best friends since.

Flashback end

I met Isabelle and Jesse at a wedding I had been invited to and instantly we hit it off when some girl was trying to talk down to Bell and I stopped it and told her where to get off. Jesse didn't like that girl either and having watched the scene play out, decided that she would come over and talk to us. One talk led to another and soon we were inseparable. As for David, I had been in need of a lawyer for my companies and when one day Jess told me that she knew this lawyer who was the best and seeing as I was in a dilemma, she helped me and set up a meeting with him. The meeting was filled with flirtatiousness and playful banter. Mics, Bell and Jess wanted to go bowling and I remembered at mine and David's meeting he mentioned how he loved bowling so I invited him out with us and just like that he became part of our awesome clique. When Mics and Bell met they were like teenagers with high school crushes so Jess and I took it upon ourselves to bring the two together. And our plan worked no doubt.

When Michael had asked me out I had told him no. I didn't want our friendship to be ruined if we didn't work out besides, I didn't do relationships. One night stands and then I would never see them again. Unlike Bell, I don't believe in the whole love, fairy-tale wedding and happily ever after once upon a time story. It's just what it exactly is: a story. I wasn't always like this. At one stage I did believe in those things but reality made me come to my senses and since then I've never been on the dating radar.

I just do one night stands and have them sign contracts to protect me and my companies' reputation. Also because then they know where they stand with me and not to expect more than what is offered. There've been instances when some would come back begging me to go on a date or to spend the night again, making promises that I know from experience was a load of crap and not to believe and I never gave them the time of the day. The relation was strictly sexual. There had only ever been 2 after him. I was never one to be needy.

I was in control and that's what I needed. I didn't want to get serious but God was Bell a pest when it came to my love life. She would always pester me about how I should give relationships a try and all that sappy stuff but I always told her no. She was the only one that knew my secret well...until the others found out. Bell had found out one day when one of the guys, Antonio who began stalking me after our encounter was in my bedroom naked and kneeling by the bedpost, eyes downcast, with a whip and handcuffs on the bed. She screamed for me as I was in the kitchen making us dinner. So eventually I had to tell her that I was a dominant and that Antonio had been my submissive and she took it surprisingly well.

Until that night...it was a Friday night and the clique decided that they would have a grill and barbecue at my place. I usually always had my playroom locked in case I had unwanted visitors snooping around not to mention if my family surprised me and came to my home and walked into the room they wouldn't like what they'd see. Yes, I had a "red room of pain" as Anastasia in Fifty Shades of Grey so aptly describes it. But that day, the playroom renovations had just been completed and new toys had been added to the collection. Michael went inside to get something and happened to pass by the room. Everyone was always curious as to what was inside the room since it was always locked and for some reason, Michael opened the door and walked in. All we heard was "Holy shit! What the fuck Storm?" I went to where he was and soon the clique followed, looked around the room with faces that wore expressions of shock and surprise.

After that I made sure that room was never open again, keeping the key in my safe. They never expected it but didn't judge me either. Although, they never missed a chance to tease me about it. I liked that they didn't question me about it and respected my desire to keep it confidential.  It was soon going to be Show Time and I couldn't hold the excitement in me.
