** Melanie P. O. V. **

After what happened in his office I tried to avoid him as much as I could. I got up to go to the gas station, he was already gone. Thank you Jesus. I finished early and went to the bank to send money to my sister, I have make sure she's alright.

I took out my phone and sent her a quick message, 'I sent it, make sure you got it.'

After awhile a message came in, 'I got it, love you.'

'Love you to. Stay safe.'

I deleted the text messages quickly, in case someone hacked my phone.

I then went to the diner, why do I have shits of bosses, as you can guess today was horrible. I want to know if, I have a sign on my forehead that reads harass me today. He was on my case every chance he got. I'm so glad I'm soon finished.

I had a few minutes left, I took my bag and snuck out. It's the end of the month. Visiting day. I drove quickly to a nearby facility. I parked in the back of the parking lot and made my way to the building.

I snuck into the locker room and changed into a pair of scrubs. I know the schedule like the back of my hand. No one is around this time.

I snuck back out and placed an envelope with money inside, with a note, by the nursing station, which is unattended right now. I make my way to her room, wondering if she remembers me.

I walked in, she was lying down watching out the window.

"Hi." I said walking in slowly.

"Oh nurse is it group time?"

"No I just came to check on you." I felt down, she didn't remember but what did I expect, she hasn't remembered me for awhile.

"Okay." She went back to watching out the window. I sat down in the chair next to her, trying to remember the last time I got to touch her. She doesn't like to be touched ever since.

"Isn't it lovely?" She asked breaking me out my day dream.

"What?" I asked not hearing what she said.

"Outside? Isn't it lovely?" I shook my head, yes, "The sweet freedom, I wish I had that."

Me and you both.

I guess she wants freedom as much as me.

Her attention suddenly went to something behind me or someone.

Him.

"Hello handsome."

"Hello beautiful." He said charming her, coming into the room.

"Don't come in any further." I said gritting my teeth.

"Why?" He asked.

"This man seems lost, I'll escort him out." I said getting up and going out the room.

"What did you do? Did you follow me?"

"I always have someone following you, so imagine my surprise when they said you snuck out and came to a mental facility, it peeked my interest."

I walked into the locker room and changed back into my clothes.

"Why do you keep following me? And I never see your men."

"That's because they're customers, random cars parked by the diner and so on. And they will be like that until I say otherwise."

We made our way to where I parked, only to see that my car isn't there anymore.

"Where's my car?"

"Don't worry about it. Imagine I give a little freedom and this is what you do?"

"I'm sorry just don't take away my car again."
