***A week later ***

***Maya's P. O.V***

A woke up to the bed empty as usual, after showering and getting dressed, I made my way downstairs. I heard many voices, I went into the kitchen to see the gang, even my dog.

"Hi, guys."

"Hi, Maya." They answered.

"Hello beautiful." Aiden answered.

"Hello Aiden." I said with a smile.

"I love how I put a smile on your face." He said making me laugh.

Shay grabbed him and said, "What did you say?"

"Nothing." He said making the guys laugh.

"Thought so." Shay said letting him go and he started walking towards me.

"Good morning M." He said kissing me.

"Good morning Shay."

"Get a room." One of the guys said.

"Yeah nobody wants to see that." Aiden said.

"I'm in my house so if you don't want to see, leave." Shay said seriously.

"Behave." I told him. I walked into the kitchen more, making a bowl of cereal and seating down between them.

"You guys are behaving." I said in shock to them.

"Yeah, Shay threatened us."

"Yes I'm holding back, I have a lot to say about his head."

"And I have a lot to say about your face, it's making me agnostic."

"Idiots! What did I say." Shay yelled making them hush one time. "M do you have work?"

"Yes but later." I answered.

"I'm leaving with Oli and Nate, Logan and James are going to be with you today."

"Why, I thought everything was good now."

"Yes those who were after you are dealt with but I have my enemies. Apparently I spent to much time with you so they figured out what you mean to me."

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked.

"M baby I don't have the time to explain, just stay with them."

"So how long is this going to be for." I asked.

"Until they're dead." He said leaving.

"What do you guys really do? Why does he have enemies? And why will they die?" I asked James and Logan.

"You don't know." Logan answered.

"Know what?"

"Shayne is a mafia boss." James said. He said and everything clicked, the way he talked, the way he acts, the events that happened. I don't even know how to feel. We moved to the couch with my dog.

"Yeah and not just any, he's the American plus the Irish." Logan said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"His Mom was Irish, the only heir to the Irish mafia family. They didn't have any more children so they knew that it would go her first male born."

"Yeah and?" I asked curiously.

"You shouldn't be telling the story, ass." James said.

"Who you calling an ass, boy I've had bowl movements more attractive than you." Logan answered.

"You know what you do you, because God knows no one else will." James answered back.

"What doesn't kill you disappoints the rest of us." Logan said.

"Did you get your personality in a car crash? You'd fail a personality test." James then said.

"Do I smell smoke? Were you thinking too hard again? Did you use all your brain power on that insult." Logan fired.

"Being bitter won't make you prettier and if ignorance is bliss, you must be ecstatic all times." James fired back.

"You guys are worst than children, now finish the story."

"As I was saying before I was disturbed by an unknown creature, so she had to get married and there were many options. But her father wanted her close to him so he promised her to the Scottish mafia. She grew up with him so she didn't have a problem because she knew him. They were supposed to plan the wedding but her father had  business in America and since she never traveled so far she asked to go with him. He agreed, he loved his daughter, Cara and would do anything for her. She was all he had, his wife died years ago.

She came to America and fell in love with the place, she told her father that they would have to come back. The day of the meeting she accompanied her father and met Lucas Hayes. He fell for her beauty and she found him attractive. Over the days they went through the business deal, she fell in love with him. When it was time to leave, she didn't want to and she told her father . He understood but he didn't want her to leave, he pushed back his flight so his daughter could get some more time and that he could come up with a plan.

She would go out with him and they fell more and more each time. Lucas knew she was the one and asked her to marry him. She was already promised to be married and she told him so. They had a problem but they didn't care. She spent the night with him and in the morning she asked her father to call it off because she was marrying Lucas. He did so and they planned the wedding and future of both gangs.

They got married and at the reception the Scottish invaded, killing many in attendance. They fought back but many lives were lost, one being her father and the man she was supposed to marry father. Who didn't die got away.

She found out she was pregnant, shortly after. Soon baby Shayne was here. They lived happily together for some years, it was hard getting pregnant again but  eventually, ten years later, baby Aiden was here. She was happy with her family, but soon her past would catch up with her. Her ex arranged a car accident killing both Lucas and Cara."

"Making Shay grow up fast to take over the mafias and to raise his baby brother." I finished.

"Yes but he had an uncle that wanted the throne and tried together it from him, he met his death with those that killed his parents." James filled in.

"That uncle was another mess and the reason he doesn't like people lying to him." Logan said.

"Why? Can you tell me what happened there?"

"Well since it's story time." Logan said making me smile. "His uncle told him about his parents death and he began his training.  During the time, he was acting like he cared about him but treated him badly.  Sometimes during training he would torture Shayne, when he was finished he had so many marks on his body that he covered them with tattoos. Well that and he likes the pain, he got so accustomed to pain. His uncle would under mind him, giving him wrong advise and when Shayne ordered something, he would second guess him infront of everybody. Sometimes not even saying the order Shayne gave. He constantly lied to him, that he can't stand it now."

"He's been through a lot." I said so softly I didn't think they heard.

"Yeah he did. Most of us grew up with him. He doesn't trust easy but you came into his life and changed him." Logan said.

"Yeah it's like we got back our best friend, we haven't seen him happy in a long time." James said.

"Since his parents death. He trusted you so easy that we all where in shock. But I'm glad you're good for him. Just don't hurt him."

"I won't. "
