My morning started as it always did. My lady in waiting Macey woke me up and served my glass of milk (old habits die hard). She dressed me and did my hair in a simple pony tail. I was about to leave when my fathers page Zach came.
'Princess Zoe his majesty's page Zach is here to see you'
'Let him Macey'
Zach entered and gave a deep bow. I always admired his way of politeness and how he always followed rules. I used to hate the way the bowed but my father explained when I was about ten that I should allow it because one day I will rule them so I must show them my power. However it's now become a norm.
I sat and Zach spoke ,
"My lady our king has asked to to join him in his study for breakfast
"
I sat , my father only ever asked for one of us to join him for a meal in his study if the country was in danger or there was an important matter was to be dealt with.
"Zach tell him I will join him in about 10 minutes, you are dismissed"
With that he left.
10 minutes later I left for breakfast with my father. being the oldest of the 3 of us , I was always daddy's favourite and Theo the youngest , was always moments favourite. But the nations favourite has always been Jane.
She's elegant , intelligent and beautiful.
I reached my fathers study and I knocked on the door but also held
my breath.
