My choice

Part 16

I walked my self to the kitchen in the need to a good mocha. I walked to the kitchen where I saw Niall.
I knocked on the wall. Niall looked up "your majesty" he bowed.
"Niall what are you doing in the kitchens so late."
He turned red with embarrassment.
"Well I was feeling a bit bored so I thought I'd find something to pass my time with"
"Cooking?" I asked a bit confused.
"I'm a baker. I bake for party's , weddings birthdays and everything. It's just a bit of a hobby really. "
"Oh that's nice. " I walked over to the coffee machine. " would you like a cup of coffee
"I'm sure" he replied
I made to cups of coffee placed one by him and then I sat opposite him.
"Do you mind me asking princess.  What happened to your dress" I looked down and remembered that it was ripped.
"Oh me and Zach went on a walk and I thought there was a rebel attack to I pushed him to the the ground and I fell to the ground as well. But it turned out it was Robert out on a run. I guess it must of snagged on something. And I'm Zoe not princess. "
He chuckled. "Robert was out on a run. He hates running he loves sports but hates going on runs. "
I was confused but decided not to further question him about his brother.
"What you making"
"I'm making mixed fruit scones. They'll be ready in a few minutes"
"Scones what ate those."
"In the olden days they used to have them with tea in the afternoon they are really nice. You have them with jam and clotted cream"
I gasped "I love clotted cream "
We both laughed.  The timer went off he went to the oven and I went and got cream and jam.
He cut the scone in half and put some cream and jam on it. He handed it to me. I tried and let's just say I fell in love.
"Niall this is amazing. Oh god you have to make these for breakfast tomorrow "
He chuckled "well Zoe you'll have to help me make them then"
"Of course"
"Up you get then put in that apron and tie your hair back." I tied my hair back into a pony tail a and got started helping him.
Before we knew it we both had dough all over us I was sitting on the counter and he stood in front of me with his hands on my waist. He took his hands and wiped the dough off my face. Something took over me I was staring into his deep brown eyes I placed one of my hand on the back of his neck and pulled him in for a kiss. He was surprised first but then he kissed me back.  It was intimate loving and had me craving more. We both pulled back to get a breath my legs were wrapped around his waist and his hands were on my back. He leaned in and stated giving me small kisses on my shoulder. I ran my hands through his hair and whispered "Niall I have to go. My maids will be waiting for me. I and have to wake up early I have to much work to do." He wrapped his arms tighter around my waist "Niall I don't want to leave you either" I whispered "but I have to go please" he let go and helped me get down from the table
"Goodnight Zoe" he kissed my forehead.
"Good night Niall " I whispered back.
