"Thanks so much for this Toni" Ren smiled as she drank the pint glass of water.
"It's no need you know i'm here for you." Toni placed her hand over Rens, "Always"
"So what's up?"
"So much stuff like i just have such a bad feeling about my dad leaving his job" She sighed, "Like he says it's a break but i know it's not true heck even Aaron knows it and he's barely got one braincell" Toni laughed nodding her head.
"You think it's something to do with the Blackhood?" She questioned wiping down the bar top.
"Yes....no....maybe" shaking her head before continuing, "I mean he's mentioned him and Sheriff Keller not agreeing on things before but my dads stubborn he'd never give up like that"
Toni sighed, "Don't stress over this Maren honestly your stress is making me feel stress"
Maren laughed but not a true one, "That's not the real reason i'm so called stressed"
"Then what is?" Toni came out from behind the bar and sat beside Maren.
"The Blackhood he uh he sent me something" Toni raised her eyebrows urging her friend to continue, "He sent me someone's finger, a chopped off finger" Toni gasped with shock, worry and anger.
"He sent you what now?" His deep voice startled Maren, the girl slowly turned around to find his face contorted with absolute rage. "Why would he send you something like that Maren?" Sweet Pea asked.
"I don't know i really d-"
"Well you must've done something? What did you do?" He walked closer standing over her, his anger was literally emitting from him. Marens heart beat a lot faster mostly due to fear.
"Pea she didn't do anything" Toni stood up and pushed his chest back, "Back off, kay?"
The dark haired boy huffed and drew a few breaths before storming out of the Wyrm with Maren following quick to his heel.
"Sweet Pea!" She yelled after him, "Wait!"
"What is it Maren?" He breathed out turning to face her, he looked down seeing his old Serpent jacket in her hands.
"It's about time you get your jacket back" Ren put her hands out waiting for him to take it, but he didn't. Instead he just kept staring into her eyes with his brows furrowed. He's worried Maren thought, whenever they furrow like that he's worried.
He shook is head pushing her hands back, "Keep it" Sweet Pea looked away from her.
"But" He cut her off before she could finish.
"But nothing I have one, as you can see" It was true, he was wearing one after all.
"I'm not a Serpent so i've no need to keep it Pea" Maren sighed, she would get no where with him and his stubbornness.
