Most of Raven Beauregard's adolescence was spent with nightmares. She was unaware that they were her subconscious alerting her to impending events. She moves in with her childhood best friend Brie as she begins her first year of college.

Raven is a rebel who refuses to conform to societal expectations of how girls should behave. When it comes to shattering hearts, she likes to love outplaying opponents. There is always a fresh mistake for her to play with until she discovers her next blunder, the one she has been seeing in her nightmares.

The most popular and dangerous vampire in school is Clay Cladwell. Never committed in relationships, always playing with women. Prior to Raven entering his life, this partygoer never opened his door to anyone.

A fight between lovers reveals more about each of them than it does to others. They don't think that love exists or that two souls can become one; they see it through a gloomy lens. That is, until they begin to feel things for the first time and their frigid hearts begin to warm up.

They are reluctant to admit that they are in love. No matter what anyone thinks, Clay decides that Raven is the one and only person he wants. He allows love to enter his heart for her.

Raven, on the other hand, withdraws. After discovering that she is a hybrid. Witch and vampire combined, she was the first of her kind. She works hard to keep Clay at a safe distance. Her heart, on the other hand, has other ideas. She always ends up in his arms, regardless of what she does.

These two run through hell and back just to be with each other. Proving to everyone love is more vital than anything else in this world.
