After touching down in London, I take my time before attempting to hail a cab. I take a short stroll through the airport in an effort to clear my thoughts. It is a grievous mistake on my part to be here without her. I have a good understanding of myself, and I am going to let all of my rage take control of me, but right now none of it matters. I made a major mistake, and there is no way to rectify the situation. I get in a cab and travel to the house where I spent my childhood. As soon as I get there, I fish the keys out of my pocket and use them to open the front door.

"Mr. Clay," Reina stands there with a look of curiosity.

"Hi, Reina. I'm just here for a few days," I put my bags down and head to the kitchen.

"I've seen that look a thousand times, Mr. Clay. Sit and explain what happened," Reina follows me into the kitchen as she has many times before.

Reina motions for me to have a seat and then sets a cup of coffee down on the table. Reina has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I let out a sigh and then begin to recount the recent events that have taken place between Raven and I. She is listening to what I have to say quite intently as she sits there.

"To summarise, in a nutshell. You're admitting that your ego and pride got the better of you, aren't you?"

I nod. I inhale deeply while placing my hands to my face.

"I unintentionally let her go. When I had last seen her, her eyes had lost all of their brightness and the enthusiasm that they once had. They just burned with anger." My body trembles as I come to terms with the amount of damage I've caused to her.

Reina grabs my hand and softly says,

"I have seen you at your lowest points and I have seen you at your strongest moments as you have grown up in front of my very eyes. On the other hand, you being with Miss. Raven, " She grins and says, "I have never seen anything like the light that I saw in your eyes. She genuinely brings joy to your life. I have faith that she will make a return. Just be patient with her for a while." She stares at me with a sense of ease and comfort in her eyes.

"I don't think she is ever coming home," As soon as I stand up, I head for my bedroom.

As I lay in bed, I think about everything that has happened. How could I have ever treated her like such an idiot? My entire world revolves around her. Together, we have seen a lot of things, and all I want to do is make sure that nobody has to go through what we have. Because this world is a dangerous place, we conceal ourselves behind the truth. However, I am conscious of the fact that this should not hinder us from having normal lives.

Everyone makes mistakes, and I'll do anything to win her forgiveness. I decide to call her as I pick up my phone. No response, so I dial Logan's number,

"Dude, are you crazy?" First thing he says as he answers.

"Um, yeah. Have you spoken to Raven?"

"Yeah, she is actually umm... with Brie. I'll go get her."

I wait patiently as I hear his footsteps head towards Brie and Raven....yelling?

"Are you kidding? You're acting like Clay. You don't get to dictate what I can and cannot do!" Raven yells. "I'm going and no one will stop me. So back the fuck off," She shouts.

"Girls?" Logan finally musters out.

"What?" They both shout at him.

"It's Clay,"

"What about Clay?" Raven asks, "Let me guess you want to let me know that he is going to be extremely pissed that I'm flying out. Well guess what? I don't fucking care, he can't tell me where to go. News flash me wanting to leave is the reason he hopped a flight to London. So I don't see the difference."

I end the call before she becomes further furious. I don't know how I allowed it to get this far.

Logan is on the line when my phone rings. Because getting yelled at isn't my thing, I choose to ignore it. After he calls me a second time, I toss my phone over to the opposite side of the bed. I get to my feet and walk over to the bay window. I have to learn to let go of the mistakes I've made in the past and just chill out.

I get up and grab the keys to the bike before I ride off. While I'm driving down the road, I can feel my hunger starting to take over. I am able to see the bar that serves as the starting point for all of the trouble. I dismount the bike and walk into the building, where I take in the crowd.

"Clay!" I turn to see Mark with a number of other people.

I walk over to him and take a seat.

"One vamp is back, where's the other?"

"Logan's busy with his girlfriend."

"Where's..What's her name again? Oh right, Raven. Where's Raven?" He smirks with evil intent.

"Don't want to talk about it,"

"So, you're back in London to cause some trouble." He looks at me knowing me too well.

"That's the plan," I down the shot of Vodka put in front of me.

"Let's get the party started then, shall we?" He grabs my shoulders and laughs.

"The ripper is back!" He shouts.

"YEAH!" Everyone shouts in excitement.

I know this is wrong, but fuck it!

The night begins in the foreboding forest, where I catch people off guard and feed from them to satisfy the hollow within me. Mark calls my name, and as I emerge from the shadows, I wipe the blood that is trickling down from my lips.

"That's the man I remember, come back to my apartment, someone wants to see you."

After following him to his apartment, I find Veronica already sitting on the couch there. Great! This is not what I had in mind at all. I don't want some whore who believes that if she just gets one man to sleep with her, then she is the Queen of all men. I long for the return of my Queen, but at the moment, my hunger is winning, and I require further blood. Veronica gets to her feet and starts walking in my direction. My eyes light up, and she seems satisfied that she has me right where she wants me, but before I get a chance to regain control of myself, Mark yells,

"Mate, slow down,"

I take a step back and realise that I drank from her till she became unconscious. Oh well, she had no business being here in the first place. As my rage builds, I reach over to the table in front of me, where a bottle of vodka is resting, and take a swig from it. At the same time, others begin entering and exiting the flat, and I continue to sit there, progressively dreading every minute that I have to spend apart from Raven.

What did I do? I'm such a screw up.
