I'm not sure when we got back last night but we stayed the night at John b house in the spare bedroom with JJ. Then Pope and kie slept in the living room. Now we were looking at the carmra that they stole from JJ's dads old work.
"What's this?" JJ asks looking at the sreen.
"Don't touch that. I'm trying to work things out" Pope says. John b and kie were in the water and Ari was running around John b's yard.
"God bless geeks, pope truly man. What would we do without you to control the drones?" JJ asks.
"Technicly it's not a drone. It's an ROV" Pope says.
"Shut up, Shut up." JJ says i roll my eyes at the two.
"Hey once we get the footage of the wreak, we'll bring it to a lawyer in town and file a formal claim." JB says.
"It's bullshit why do we have to do that?" JJ asks.
"Well there is maritime salvage law. You can't just scoop up a bunch of stuff off the ocean floor." Pope says and JJ rolls his eyes.
"I know, i know it's just lawyers aren't cheap, bro" JJ states.
"Oh my ducks can y'all stop arguing for like 10 mintues?" I ask and both of them stay quite.
"This tethers like really long in the wrong weather this can get pushed around in the wrong ways." Pope says looking down at the yellow rope.
"Then well go at deat calm" John b says and claims up the latter behind kie.
"So know we just gotta wait around for the right weather." Pope says and looks up at the sky next to JJ "And today is not that day"
"You kids get there grocreys over to figure 8. Get straight back when you're done. Make sure they don't go fishin" Heyward says looking at me. Me, JJ, and pope were going to help heyward with grocreys, well Ari was coming to but she's not much help.
"Rich folks don't wanna wait for you lazy sons of... Oh JJ thank you... Son of bitches" Heyward says.
"Right" Pope replizes. Once we get all the bag loaded on we start going to stop and start deliving grocreys. I was walking though one of figure 8's land while Pope took the golf house and JJ took the other side and took Ari saying he was going to get good better tips. I got back to the boat first and went to my phone. I look though some of my photos there are was some of me and the pouges then some of me, sarah and rafe then one of when i first found out i was pregnet. I looked up and saw Pope stumbling down the deck to the boat.
"Oh my shiting ducks what happend are you okay?" I ask pope who was all bloody.
"Ask your bestie Rafe." Pope said i grab his sholder and sat him down i grabbed a towl and water to get the blood off of his mouth.
"Rafe did this? Oh my god" I say as i put my hand though my hair.
"Jeusus i'm so sorry Pope" I say i know it's not going to make it up to him up i could try.
"Lor, Pope! You never going to believe what happend to me! Woah thats the best hundered bucks i have ever made when i say count me in on all these grocery delivers, i mean it man and you have to let me bring Ari baby" JJ shouts running down the deck with Ari in his arms. Once JJ sits down next to pope in the front of the boat he could see soemthing was wrong.
"What's wrong with you?" He asks then looks back at me to see if i new but i just looked to the ground all fidgeted with my necklace.
"Yo what happend to you face dude? Jeusus what happend?" JJ asks.
"Rafe and Topper jumped me.They said no pogues on there side of the island and that Lori and Ari would never be pogues" Pope awsers my head snaps up to Pope.
"This was about me?" I ask i don't get an awser just a pity look from JJ. Then i watched as JJ's jaw clenched and i knew it wasn't going to end well. I grab JJ's hand and squize it shaking my head No. But he muttered yes then turned back to Pope.
"What are you going to do about it?" JJ asked.
"2020 Malibu, 24-MXC." Pope says as we stand on the boat outside Toppers house.
"This is war Pope, they hit us we hit them" JJ says. JJ throws me on of his hats and i put it on my head while JJ puts a mask on and i had Ari stay sitting down where the steering wheel was. Pope takes off his hat and shirt then dives in the water. He swims across the water to the boat.
"Jay this is not a good idea" I say looking up at JJ i was worried something would happen the bad feeling in my stomach was telling me something bad was going to happend.
"It'll be fine Lor and nothing will happen to you or ari, i promise it'll keep you two safe always and forever." JJ says putting his arm around me and kissing my timple. I smiled but didn't say anything as pope was getting back on the boat.
"JJ, Lori you can't tell anyone" Pope says.
"oh no i would never" I say.
"Oh, no yeah totally dude." JJ says.
"No i'm serious dude not kie not john b nobody! Nither can Ari" Pope says looking back at the little girl who had fallen asleep. JJ walks over there and picks the baby up off the groud and holds her to his chest.
"Yep our lips are sealed. Give me that" JJ says then chucks the pluge in to the water.
"Okay let's get out of here" JJ says while Pope starts the boat and drives off.
I sat lisning to JJ's heartbeat on the hamiks. Pope, kie and john b sat on one toghther then Me, JJ, and Ari was laying in the other one i could lay here for forever just with him and my baby. "You really think it's out there like no bullshit?" Pope asks breaking the silence.
"My father thought it was." John b said.
"But do you?" Pope asks. JJ played with my hair braiding a little piece of it.
"After hearing his voice on that tape...I think i do." John b say.
"Only one way to fine out." Pope says.
"Look we're going to find it you know. Even JJ beleives" Kie says.
"Oh my god JJ, do you really believe?" John b asks sacrasticlly.
"Totally wait Are we talking five mil?" JJ asks.
"Five hundred mil" We all corect him.
"Jinx" I say.
"I'm going to dream about Lori and shipwrecks." JJ says laying his head for on to mine.
"Good night bird" JJ says.
"Good night bird shit" JB replizes we all laugh at the duo after it get quite i start talking
