Chapter 16

Just because your correct, doesn't mean your right.

"Luke wood beach?" Andre repeated

"Yes,16 is going to be there, I want you to use what you've been taught to kill her" Mr Lucas demanded

"I don't know if I'm ready" Andre said and Mr Lucas handed him a pack of serione

"This will ensure that you are" he smirked

"I don't do drugs" Andre stated and scrunched his face in disgust.

"Think of it as a modifier, it enhances all your physical abilities to the max, trust me, this is the only chance you stand against 16" he said and Andre hesitated, he was too consumed by the drive for revenge to think straight.

"I'll do it" he said and collected the drugs from him.

16's POV

I got ready to go to the beach, according to 15 it was to start by 6pm and right now it was 5:35, I was running late.

"Are you sure you don't want us to come with you, will you be fine on your own?" Nina asked worried

"I'm a retired assassin, I'm pretty sure I can handle a common drug dealer" I rolled my eyes

"Make sure to get the serione, don't fail this time" Damien said monotone and I really felt like punching him.

"I'm doing this for my Andre, not you" I said and stuck my tongue out to him.

I rushed out of the house through the back wearing a black hoodie, The reason I didn't want Damien and Nina to come along was because of the note 15 had given me, in that note it said that Mr Lucas was going to be there. I needed to do this alone without letting them get hurt.

I arrived at Lukewood beach and apparently the party had already started, the music wasn't so loud and it didn't reek of alcohol. People were in their swimsuits and bikinis and I kinda felt out of place for wearing a hoodie and a pair of jean shorts.

According to 15, Cole was the host of this party and the one who had the serione. I didn't know what he looked like so I decided to ask around.

"Hi, uhm I'm looking for the host of this party, Cole" I smiled

"Buzz off!" A man who was grinding a blonde girl said and spat in my face

Kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill.

The monster inside me raved, and different ways in which I could kill him raced through my mind.

"Now let's give a huge round of applause to our host! Cole Daniels!" The MC announced and my attention shifted to him, a tall man wearing a floral shirt stepped up. He gave a short thanks speech and stepped down.

I waited for him to be away from people before I approached him.

"Hiya there" I smiled and he looked shocked to see me

"Who are you?"

"Doesn't matter, I need some serione" I said and he glared at me suspiciously

"Not for sale" he said and brushed past me but I grabbed his arm to stop him

"I'd advice you to hand it over now, they're some people who are coming here to kill you"

"What?" He gasped frightened and before I could explain to him, he was shot dead.

"Crap!!" I cussed frustrated, I looked back to see the culprit and saw Mr Lucas holding a pistol.

Everyone began to scream and run helter-skelter.

"You" I glared

"If looks could kill" he laughed, nothing was funny, I was angry and I wanted to kill him.

"My daughter, I've missed you" he smiled "did you do something with your hair, ha! What a cheap disguise, a father would recognize his daughter even if she went under a knife" he grinned and my stomach stirred in disgust

"Come back home 16, and I'd forget any of these happened" he said and opened his arm

"I'm not your daughter and I'm never coming back, so you can go die!" I spat and his smile turned upside down

"Then you leave me no choice"

"What are you going to do, kill me?" I scoffed

"No, but he will" he said and pointed behind me, I turned around and my whole body lost it's defenses.
Andre stood before me, but something was different about him, his eyes were hooded and he was foaming a little from the mouth. I had seen something like this with JT, the time he took serione.

"You drugged him!?" I fumed and Mr Lucas smiled in response

"You have something bigger to worry about" he said and I turned my attention back to Andre

He was rushing towards me with a knife, I skillfully blocked and avoided his punches but he was quicker and stronger than before, was that because of the serione?

"Andre listen to me, I don't know what he has told you but they're all lies" I said but he ignored me and kicked me in the side.

It was just a kick but it felt like I was hit by a truck. It sent me flying and I hit a palm tree. He was crazy strong now, This was obviously because of the serione

"I didn't kill your parents, someone else did and I'm trying to find out who that is for you"

He gave me a kick on the head and I recognized the fighting style, Mr Lucas must have been training him at the institute.

He kept trying to attack me and I kept trying to block because I couldn't find it in myself to hit him. And even though he was hitting me with the intention to kill me I still felt butterflies.

Things went south when he pulled out a gun from his pocket, it had the same butterfly design as Doel, he pinned me to the ground and pointed it at my head.

"Andre!" A voice called out and we both turned to look at Damien, why in the world was he here and he brought Nina and Bella.

"What are you guys doing here?" I breathed

"We found the note" Damien said holding up the note that 15 had given me, crap I must've forgotten it.

"Damien" Andre's gaze softened and I used that as my opportunity to get his gun out of his hand.

I threw it to Damien and he skillfully caught it, I held Andre to the floor and looked into his eyes, his beautiful green eyes that made me want to be a better person.

"Andre I love you" I blurted

"I'm going to kill you"

"I'm not responsible for your parents death"

"I don't believe you" he said and I knew what I had to do. I got off him and helped him off the floor, he was about to hit me again but I stopped him and placed his head on my chest.

"Andre, hearts don't lie"

I felt his whole body relax in my arms and there wasn't a sweeter feeling than that, it was surreal and it felt like time had stopped around us.

"Ugh now I'm bored" Mr Lucas spoke and from the corner of my eyes I saw him aiming his gun at Andre.
