Prologue:
3rd person POV

Lillian Miller was a shy twenty-two year old with long blondeish brown hair and pretty blue eyes. Some think she wore fake eyelashes but the joke was on them. She was short, she wasn't skinny nor was she bigger. She was perfect. She was just right. At least that's what her mother always said.

Lillian was the guardian of her little brother Toby before he uncle came to the rescue. Her parents didn't make it once the virus hit. Even though Toby tells her constantly that he's old enough to watch after himself because he's nineteen.

she worries.

You see, what happened just six months ago is why they are running, why their hiding and scared for their lives.

If you got the vaccine you assumed you were safe, if you didn't get the vaccine you assumed the same. What were they hiding from the people of the world?

Nothing felt safe anymore

Places were abandoned

People were dying

Lillian and Toby now walked the vacant areas with their uncle Ned who is, or should I say was the chief of police with only a pistol and a plan of survival.

They have one goal:

Never come in contact with anybody who is sick.

They never get close to anybody to find out the consequences.

Except for one guy who's there as a hero in her eyes.

Author note:

Hello!!

I hope you enjoy the story!

This has been sitting in my drafts for years. I decided to finally update it because I really liked the concept of this story. It's different then any other one I've written.

This story will contain...

1. Mature content
2. Drug use
3. Personal issues like depression and anxiety
4.drinking
5. Mature language

Like always the characters I put in my stories are NOT who they are in real life. Please don't come at me with rudeness, it's just a story.

I'll update when I can because the story is completed, minus small details that I will add or take away.

This story will not be rushed and I will take my time with it to make it perfect so pardon the Grammer mistakes and spelling. I won't see it until I re read it.

If you like the story show some love and hit the vote button, comment on it because I love to see your thoughts.

Okay, that's it! Enjoy!
