In three days its my birthday, in five days its Christmas. I felt like time was rushing me to go no where. I shook my head at the five men sitting on my couch. Ned decided to stay upstairs due to being uncomfortable with pot smoking in the house. Xbox games, beer, joints around them, cheering as they played.

"So weird. They are always like this". Lizzy said as she sat next to me on the stairs.

"Yeah"?

"All the time. Dom and Pete used to play so intense that it got physical. Pete broke Dom's nose once". She giggled.

That was the first time in while I laughed at one of her stories. Maybe she was okay.

"One time Colson got so mad he didn't take me out that night. I was so mad".

Nope. There it is.

I nodded and stood up, walking into the kitchen. She was quick to follow behind me and sat at the island.

"Have you two went on a date yet"? She asked.

I really didnt want to talk to her about Colson. I just got over everything.

"Sorry, just trying to make conversation". She sighed.

I took a deep breath, letting it out slowly. "No. We haven't had a date yet".

"How come"?

I flung my arm up, letting it smack my thigh. "Because the pandemic won't let us". I sighed.

"That doesn't work for me. You deserve a date". She smiled.

I shrugged my shoulders and sat down across from her. "Dont we all"? I questioned and she smiled.

"Come on. He sure as hell likes you. Don't you think he'll make a date night"? She asked.

"One day maybe. Right now we're still trying to get to know one another".

"And wouldn't you think a cute little, in home date would help with that? I can plan it and everything". She smiled.

"Ehh"-

"Please, I know you may think I'm some home wreaker but I promise you. I didn't want to say anything but I'm kinda into your brother". She giggled.

My mouth opened and I quickly covered it. "No way. Your the girl that I heard about down at the tracks". I said and she nodded.

"Dont believe everything Colson has told you. He got mad at me and told everyone I had an STD because I left. Not to be mean but I just couldn't handle him. That's why we never slept together". She said and sipped her drink.

That made me feel a little bit better. I gave her a smile as we heard the caious in the living room die down. Toby and Colson walked in pushing one another.

"You better watch it Baker. Youre looking at your new game king". Toby laughed and grabbed a beer.

Colson took it off of him and handed him the joint from his hands. He pulled me back by my hair and smashed his lips to mine. I laughed as he let go and turned to Toby.

"You can just call me Daddy Baker". He laughed and pushed him back into the living room.

Lizzy smiled as I wiped my mouth.

"Oh absolutely obsessed with you. I'll start planning your date". She giggled.

We both walked out of the kitchen and made our way into their fun. I went to pass Colson but he pulled me down to sit on him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and laid my head on his chest.

"Hey mate. Remember that rap demo you sent out a while back"? Dom laughed and Colson groaned.

"I thought you forgot about that". He sighed.

"Woah, rap demo. Now I gotta hear it". Toby laughed.

Colson shook his head as Dom stood up. "I remember it. I'll start it". He said and cleared his throat, rapping some stupid shit.

"No. No. No, man that's not it". Colson laughed.

"Then you sing it". He laughed.

Colson sighed and thought about how to start it off.

"Blow some smoke up to the gods". Dom yelled.

"Ayy, we're doin' this all summer, alright". Leo laughed.

"Lived nine lives, so I guess I got none left , Spent mine fucked up runnin' down Sunset. All this anxiety, my stomach got upset". He smiled

"ayy". Leo cheered

"But we're not done yet".

We all clapped after he was done and he stood up, bowing.

"God I miss the old times. Whatever happened to us man"? Dom asked.

Pete stood up and cleared his throat. "You got into hard-core drugs". He smiled and sat back down.

"Shut it Davidson". Leo laughed

"Is that true"? Dom asked Colson.

Colson traced my leg with his finger as he nodded. "Yeah. Part of it". He sighed

"Well, what's the other reason"? He asked.

Colson looked at me then turned to Dom and Leo. "You messed with my girlfriend".

Pete nodded like he was helping.

"Dude. I just like messing around. I didn't mean anything by it". Dom said but Colson shook his head.

"Not you".

All eyes went to Leo as he sighed. "Okay sorry. I thought she was good looking. I didn't know you were hittin it". Leo spoke.

"He wasn't. Not that I know of". Toby said and I smacked him causing Lizzy to laugh

"No. Believe it or not I'm respectful". He said and held my hand.

"You became a softy man". Dom smiled but patted his shoulder. "It suits you".

I laid my head on colsons shoulder and he kissed my forehead. Tonght was about firsts, and I seen a whole other side of him that I was happy go witness.
