After being dragged though the dim alleyway we finally made it back to reality. Colson stopped and paced in front if me. I leant back against the brick wall of the apartment and stared at him.

"Why in the hell are you doing the supply run"? He finally asked."Toby is supposed to do the supply run".

"Um. Because I can"? I bit more off then I can chew with him. I never understood Colson and that was just in the matter of the week or so of knowing him.

"Toby said he was doing it today. Where is he"?

I shrugged my shoulders. "If I could keep track of where my younger brother was, I wouldn't be this worried all the time". I whispered.

"I don't want you coming down here anymore unless it's with me, your brother or your uncle". He said and pulled a cigarette out from his Jean jacket.

"Excuse me? You are not the boss of me. I don't need anybodys help. I'm very capable of coming down here, grabbing supplies and going back to the apartment". I sighed and began walking past him.

"Are you? I mean by the looks of it you looked like you were scared". He said.

"That's just my face". I groaned and made it to the front door of the apartment.

Colson threw his cigarette to the ground and grabbed my arm, pulling me back and stopping me.

"Face or not, it's not safe anymore out here. Especially for a pretty girl to be walking all alone. I don't want you walking around here".

I shook that comment off and got my arm from his grip. "You are not my father. If Ned happens to tell me to stay away from the dock then I'll think about it. But you" I pointed. "You are not controlling me".

I had a hard time getting my keys from my bag with all the other bags in my hands. He crossed his arms behind me and I knew I lost this argument.

"Can you please hand me my keys". I sighed in defeat.

"I thought you didn't need help"? He huffed and reached into my purse to grab my lanyard that had my keys to the apartment on.

"This is different". I whispered.

He chuckled to himself and let us in and grabbed the bags. My hands slapped against my thighs as he put my supplies away. I mentally face palmed, forgetting about the tampons. He grabbed them out of the bag and threw them to me and I walked into the bathroom.

"Listen to me". Colson spoke as he was standing in the doorway.

"The other night I was with Toby down by the train. The one guy there his name is Pete, the blonde one that was there eariler with Leo and Dom. He made a few comments about you the other night that set Toby off. I don't want you or Toby getting hurt with any of this. Do you understand"? He questioned.

I didn't feel like arguing with him. I knew he had a purpose of adding this to the conversation. I didn't need to know what a group of guys said about me. I nodded and set the tampons in the cabinet by my feet. When I stood back up two pairs of lace underwear he held in his hand were to my face. I felt embarrassed, forgetting that I had ordered them. I grabbed them from his hands and walked into my room.

Please don't make a comment.

"I'm assuming you have the matching set somewhere"? He giggled.

"Shut up". With that I walked out of the room and back to the kitchen.

When Ned got home he looked rough. I knew his days were long and I always felt bad. When I offered to work down at the supply station he told me there was no need. I want to help out as much as i can but I'm not 'allowed'.

"Then tomorrow I have a full day. This is something that I needed honestly". Toby spoke to Colson as they walked into the apartment.

"What do you need"? Ned asked as he poured himself a glass of what I assumed was scotch.

"I'm working at the pharmacy down on 7th tomorrow. I'm in charge of inventory, I got moved from supplies". Toby said and grabbed a glass for himself.

"Hey, pandemic or not, your not twenty one". Ned sighed and took his glass from him. I giggled and took it for myself.

"Whatever. I need sleep anyways". He sighed and patted Colson on the shoulder.

"Lilly, you don't care about the job stuff right? I would rather you be safe then be out there"? Ned asked and turned to me.

"I'm fine Ned. I'm an adult". I smiled and I heard Colson scoff. I turned to him as he smirked.

"I just hate leaving you alone all day. What happens if you get another panic attack when nobody is here"? Ned asked.

"I'm fine. I don't need an eye on me".

"I can always watch her". Colson piped up.

I almost had whiplash with how fast i turned to him. He can't be serious right now.

"You know that's not a bad idea". Ned smiled and finished his drink.

"Ned, I'm perfectly capable of watching myself. I'm twenty-three years old". I cried out.

"Twenty-two". Colson corrected.

I rolled my eyes and turned to Ned. "Please".

"My hands are tied Lilly. This will help you more than me. End of discussion". And with that Ned walked off into his room.

I glared over at Colson who had a smile on his face. He did all of this on purpose. He took a drink of the scotch and I stood up, walking over to him. I stood between his legs as he sat there watching me.

"You're a dick. You know I'm capable of being alone. You're a piece of shit". I hissed.

He downed the drink and stood up. My neck arching with how tall he was. He ended up picking me up and placing me on the table, his hands on both sides of me laying on the counter, our noses almost touching.

"Tell me something I don't know sweetheart". He chuckled and looked down at my lips. "This will be fun".

Once he walked off I felt myself turn into a puddle. Where the hell did that Colson come from and why was I nervous?
