Steve!?

* Your eyes adjusted to the water as you saw Eddie's figure swimming downward next to you. You followed him, still holding his hand. Once you neared the gate you felt Eddie's hand stiffen. You squeezed his hand and took lead swimming in front of him. After a few minutes of swimming you and Eddie reached the gate. You went first entering the gate, Eddie going second. As you opened your eyes to face the new atmosphere you felt immediately un-welcome. The sky was a mix of light black and red. Vines covering parts of the floor. Bats hovering in the sky. You spotted Nancy, and Robin a few steps ahead and ran with Eddie, catching up to them*
Y/n: Where's Steve!?
Nancy: We heard distant screams coming from over there.
* Your gaze fell onto Eddie as you felt his hand begin to shake. You smiled and nodded your head. He smiled weakly in response as you started running toward the screams, dragging Eddie along with you. Nancy and Robin not to far behind. You saw Steve with a pack of bats on him, eating his flesh. You quickly spotted a boat and grabbed a paddle, everyone else grabbing one as well. You quickly swung your paddle at one of the bats eating at his stomach*
Y/n: Hello.
* In mere seconds everyone was around Steve, attacking the bats. After 1 or 2 kills Nancy was attacked from behind*
Robin: Oh my God, Nance!
* Robin rushed behind her as she stared pulling at the bats tail. Meanwhile you cut a piece of the tail off of the bat that was suffocating Steve. The bat let go of his neck retreating to one of the vines. Although Steve didn't let the bat rest for to long as he quickly grabbed it's tail and started smashing it on the ground. You looked around trying to find Eddie but he was no where. You felt yourself panic as you looked around. You then felt a warm hand graze yours as you looked over to find Eddie staring at the bat Steve has now separated with his foot. Steve spit out blood as you rushed over to him pulling him into a hug*
Steve: Ow, ow, ow.
Y/n: Sorry, are you okay?
Steve: I mean they took about a pound of flesh but other than that. Yeah, never better. * He said flashing you a grin*
Robin: Uh, do you guys think these bats have, like, rabies?
Steve: What?
Robin: It's just that rabies are, like, my number one greatest fear. And I think we should get you to a doctor really soon because once the symptoms set in, it's too late. You're already like dead.
* Loud screeching could be heard as a bigger group of bats landed on the vines a few feet away from you. You felt Eddie grab your hand and slightly move you behind him. You smiled and squeezed his hand hopefully providing some sort of comfort*
Steve: All right. There's not that many. We can take 'em. Right?
* More screeches came from the bats except it wasn't from the ones on the ground, but the swarm in the air*
Robin: You were saying?
* Eddie ran a hand through his hair showing he was clearly terrified*
Nancy: The woods. Come on.
* Nancy ran toward the woods, Steve following her, You following Steve, Eddie following you, and Robin eventually following Eddie*
Robin: Great. More running. * She said running faster*

Dustin's POV

Powell: And what exactly were you all doing at the lake?
* I looked over to Lucas, and then Max trying to see if they would speak up*
Dustin: Uh... It's comp-
Max: We were... We were just going for a walk.
Callahan: A walk? At 9:00 pm?
Dustin: To the lake. We were gonna, take a little swim. Little night swim. * I said my voice rising in pitch*
Mrs Henderson: Dusty. Someone was just murdered there.
Dustin: Yeah, we... We didn't realize that until we got there.
Lucas: That's why we didn't swim.
Mrs Wheeler: And Nancy, was she with you at this night swim?
Max: No..
Dustin: Yes. Uh...
Lucas: We're not sure.
Dustin: She was there. Then she left. It's all a little confusing.
Lucas: And that's when you guys came.
Max: Right, then they dared me to say what I said.
Lucas: Oh, yeah.
Dustin: About the killer.
* Lucas and I burst into a fit of fake laughter as we tried to make our story believable*
Mr Wheeler: You're lucky you didn't get shot.
Powell: Have you had any contact with Eddie?
Dustin: That psycho... Freak killer? God, no. Nope. Absolutely not.
Max: No. We haven't heard from him.
Lucas: We barely know the guy...
Dustin: Who?
Erica: Oh, that's a bunch of bull. * She said walking toward us with her arms crossed*
Mrs Sinclair/ Mr Sinclair: Erica!
Erica: I mean, you realize they're lying. The whole couch is on fire.
Mrs Sinclair/ Mr Sinclair: Erica.
Erica: Just the facts.
Mrs Henderson: Are you lying to these policemen, Dusty?
Dustin: No!
Mr Sinclair: Lying to the cops is a crime, son.
Lucas: I'm not lying.
Erica: The fire is consuming us.
Mr Wheeler: Threaten them with a little jail time. Maybe that'll loosen their lips.
Dustin: Okay-
Mrs Sinclair: You wanna send our kids to jail?
Mr Wheeler: We need to take this seriously...
Mrs Wheeler:  He didn't mean it like that.
* Everyone broke out into separate arguments trying to yell louder than another to be heard*
Powell: Shut up!
Max: Oh my God..
* Powell stood up from his chair and yelled*
Powell: Shut up!
Mrs Wheeler: Jesus.
Callahan: Shh.
Powell: We're gonna try a more civilized approach. One at a time. You first.
Max: Wait, what? Why me?
Powell: Follow me.
Max: I'm not even in the Hellfire Club!
Callahan: Do I need to cuff you?
* Max scoffed and rolled her eyes at the question*
Callahan: Up. Chop-Chop. Let's go.

Y/n's POV

* Bats hovered in the air as you all hid underneath Skull Rock. Hoping for some shade of protection*
Robin: Oh... Okay. That was close.
Nancy: Yeah.
* Everyone crawled out from under Skull Rock and spread out a few feet*
Eddie: Too close.
Y/n: Agreed. * You said trying to calm your breathing*
* Steve held his stomach as he fell onto a side of Skull Rock*
Steve: Oh, sh-shit.
Nancy: Steve? Jesus.
Steve: I'm fine. I'm fine.
* Nancy rushed over to Steve taking a look at his wounds*
Nancy: No, no, no. You're not. You're losing blood. Come on, sit. All right?
Steve: Yep.
* Steve slowly made his way to the floor as his breathing became more e-regular. Nancy ripped a piece of her pants off and stretched it out*
Robin: Okay. So the good news is I'm pretty sure wooziness is not a common symptom of rabies. But um- if you start having hallucinations or muscle spasms or you start feeling aggressive, like do you wanna punch me or something, because you should totally let me know.
Steve: Robin.
Robin: Yeah?
Steve: I kinda wanna punch you.
* Steve's comment make a slight giggle come out of your mouth making Eddie crack a smile*
Robin: Sense of humor's still intact. That's a good sign.
Steve: Yeah.
Nancy: Okay, you ready?
Steve: Yeah. Just do it.
* Nancy wrapped the bandage like texture around Steve's waist earning a stiff grunt from him*
Nancy: Sorry.
Steve: It's okay...
* After Nancy was done she looked Steve in the eye and smiled slightly*
Steve: Thanks.
Nancy: Yeah.
* Eddie let go of your hand and climbed a rock with Vines on and surrounding it*
Y/n: What are you doing?
* Eddie ignored your comment and looked over into the woods*
Eddie: So, uh. This place is like Hawkins, but with monsters and nasty shit?
Y/n: Pretty much.
* Eddie was about to climb down but you immediately stopped him*
Y/n: Woah. Wait, watch out for the slimy vines. It's all a hive mind.
Eddie: It's all a what?
Steve: All the creepy crawlies around here, man. They're, like. One or something. So if you step on a vine-
Y/n: You're stepping on a bat-
Steve: You're stepping on Vecna..
Eddie: Shit... * He said making his way down the rock*
* Once he reached the floor, you wrapped your arms around him and pulled him into a hug*
Eddie: Hey, you okay?
Y/n: Yeah, just worried.
Eddie About what? * He said running a hand through your hair*
Y/n: What if you get hurt, like Steve. It'll be my fault for not protecting you.
Eddie: Hey!
* Eddie's hand made it's way under your chin and forced it up, making you and Eddie hold eye contact*
Eddie: It won't be your fault. If I get hurt that's on me. I was the one who chose to come in here.
* Eddie's hand moved to your cheek and caressed it softly*
Eddie: I love you darling.
Y/n: I love you too babe.
* Eddie was about to kiss you but you were interrupted by a voice*
Steve: No kissing my sister in front of me! That's an alone time thing...
Eddie: Yeah, yeah. Fine.
* You smiled and kissed his cheek making his face turn red*
Y/n: You're just jealous you can't even hold a relationship for more than a week. * You said turning to Steve*
Steve: Fuck you...
Eddie: I will~
Y/n: Eddie! Not the time, dork..
Eddie: I'm sorry.
Y/n: It's okay, but don't make comments about me like that around Steve or else you won't be welcome in the house anymore. * You asked with a small chuckle*
Robin: Back to the main topic. So everything from our world is still here, right? Except people obviously?
Nancy: As far as I understand it, yeah.
Y/n: So we could go to the police station, or a gun rally and steal guns and other things and whatever we need to blow up those bats that are guarding the gate.
Steve: Yeah, I highly doubt the Hawkins's PD has 'everything', Y/n. But guns yeah, sure.
Y/n: So? I was right for once?
Steve: Well- No.
Y/n: Damnit.
