Lia was staring at her lovable wife Yeji's picture with a sad face in the hall. her 5-year-old daughter Yuna was coming out of her room with an excited smile.
"Mommy, are we going to visit Mom today?" Yuna asked her mommy with the same excited tone.
Lia was a bit sad or nervous about her daughter's question. Surely she loved her wife more than anything in the world. She misses her a lot. But she wasn't strong enough to meet her. It is all because of that one small misunderstanding that happened 8 months ago. She wished she could fix that mistake before things went out of control. Thinking about the past is of no use now. She pushed those thoughts out of her mind before her daughter figured them out.
She put a smile on her face, "Of course dear." she said and immediately hugged her daughter.
"Awesome, Mommy" Yuna replied and hugged her back without any decrease in her excitement.
'I am sorry Yeji. It's all my fault. I am sorry Yuna, You can't live with your mom like before. It is all because of me. I am the worst person alive in the world. Instead of your Mom, I should have met with that accident 8 months ago. At least you two could have been living in peace and happiness.' As Lia's thoughts ran around to make an alternate ending for the already finished story Yuna released herself from their hug.
As she noticed the sadness paste over her Mommy's face. She said, "Don't worry Mommy. Everything will be alright soon."
Sometimes Lia wonders about her 5 yrs old maturity level. Without Yeji in her life for the past 8 months, she felt devastated from time to time. Every time Yuna will show up and comfort her just like a mother comforting her child. She once again felt thankful for her lovable wife's parenting.
She nodded her head to her daughter's comment and got up from her seat. They heard a sudden noise breaking their front door. Both of them turned their heads to look at their front door, and immediately they became confused and surprised. Near the front door, it reveals two people. One is Yeji and she is with her close friend Ryujin.
As Yeji saw both Lia and Yuna in the hall, she ran fast to them. She immediately hugged Lia tightly and said, "I miss you."
Lia was in shock. She was trying hard to speak but her world was frozen.
"Mom, Don't you miss me?" Yuna asked with a little pout.
"Of course, I missed you too dear." Yeji smiled at her daughter and moved to her daughter's side to give her a sweet hug.
Lia couldn't believe what happened now. So without any words, she left her house which surprised the remaining people in that house.
