It was like a dream

Ryujin 's P.O.V:

I was more confused by Yeji's statement earlier. I am happy she had her lost memories bit by bit, but at the same time, I am not happy to see her stressed because of something that happened months ago. Lia didn't tell me about anything that happened before her accident. I remember Yeji called me that morning to talk about the plans she made to celebrate their anniversary which includes seeing the movie with a family followed by dinner at a nice restaurant. So by her vivid memories, I can assure her it's true. Cause she told me they were planning to go to the evening show, so she asked her husband to take half-day permission. But I didn't know what happened later, because she didn't call me later that day. So I called her again the next afternoon, and I was informed that she had an accident last night and she was currently in ICU.

I rushed to the hospital to meet her. She was in a coma stage in ICU and nobody was allowed to be with her at that time. We waited for her in the hallway for almost a day. That day was like a nightmare for us. I still remember that nobody was willing to take our eyes away from the ICU room's door. We prayed for hours. Once her breathing and pulse became stable she was moved to the general room. There they allowed only one person with her. So in the morning Yuna and I took care of her. At night Lia will stay with her and I took Yuna to my home to refresh and eat. I could still remember Lia was always holding her hands, she never let go of her for at least a few minutes unless it was daily routine checkup time.

I forced her to go home and take a rest and refresh himself. But she always refused and always stayed by her side. Once she gained back consciousness she couldn't recognise them. She only recognised me. It's obvious because we were friends for decades and she lost only a few months' memories. Seriously I never knew she had some misunderstanding with Lia before. Neither Lia shared anything about this with me. 'Ah, It's frustrating I thought while hitting my car steering. Yeji placed her hands above mine and gave a sweet smile. I know she wanted to assure me she is okay. So I gave her a weak smile.

"Wow aunty, are you planning to break your car?" Yuna asked, breaking the silence. I looked at her with a confused face.

"Why are you hitting the car aunty? You know you can't break it by hitting right? You only hurt yourself. So please don't do it." She said with a bright smile.

"Haan young lady, I am not hitting the car. There was an insect in my car steering wheel. I just tried to kill it okay." I replied to her with a bright smile. 'Wow, When I became an expert in telling lies. I never knew I had this ability before but now I am telling lies without any shuttering or hesitation.' It's too bad. I thought to myself.

Yeji laughed at me as if she read my mind.

The remaining ride to the beach was silent. Neither of us spoke. Yeji And I were in deep thought about her partial memories. Maybe Yuna was asleep again. Once I was nearing the parking lot I patted Yuna's shoulders to wake her up.

"Hey baby, we are here," I said with excitement.

"Ryujin aunty, I am not sleeping. I am just looking outside. So there is no need for waking me up" She said with a sweet smile.

"Oh Sorry, I thought you were asleep," I said with a pout.

"It's Okay aunty, No problem. Thanks for waking me up." She said with a fake yawn.

"Wow, I thought there is only one bad actress here. But it seems we have one more actress. Awesome." Yeji said with a smile.

"You are already a bad actress yourself. And also you know this fact we were learning from you." I said while looking at her.

"Oh, I don't waste my time with your silly fights. Mom and aunty I am going to play with waves. Once You and Mom are finished with your fights, come and join me." Yuna said while jumping and running towards the beach.

Yeji was all smiling admiring the cuteness of Yuna. "Hey Yeji, If needed I can check with Lia to clarify that misunderstanding," I said while looking at her. Her smile suddenly dropped. "No Ryujin , Don't call her. I need some space away from her to clear my mind, please." She told me with teary eyes.

"Please Yeji Don't cry. I will support you with all your decisions but I think you misunderstood something. Maybe it might be someone else. You wrongly thought that person was him." I tried to cheer her up. But her face was more worried.

Did I say anything wrong? I got more confused than before.
