It was like a dream

Yeji's P.O.V:

As per my wish we decided to avoid going home. We couldn't get rooms in a nearby hotel, but it's fine. As long as I am staying away from Lia. Also Ryujin's home is literally my second house. So it's more comfortable than anywhere else. On our way home, I planned to accompany Ryujin. But unfortunately I slept. I realized it only when she woke me up after reaching home. She carried Yuna while I was just sleepy walking to her room. Once everything was settled, I was lying in the bed and trying to get to sleep. But unfortunately I couldn't sleep. Suddenly I am missing Lia. I sat in the bed. Ryujin might have noticed me once she was done with tucking Yuna to sleep.

"Hey Yeji, are you alright?" She asked me with a worried voice.

"Yes Ryujin. I think I miss Lia already." I replied in a low voice.

"I already expect this to happen. But don't wake me in the middle of night to meet her. I am tired." She said with a chuckle.

I don't know what to reply. She might be right. I think I will miss her even more each passing minute. So I looked down. She came closer to me and gave me a sweet hug and said, "Good night dude. Don't think much. Just sleep. If you need anything I will be in the guest room. Give me a call , okay." She moved to the guest room. I never expected her to give us her comfy bed and she is using a guest house in her own home. I am blessed to find a great friend like her. Once she went out, I suddenly felt alone. So I decided to read Lia's diary I took from our home.

I moved to the anniversary day entry: Hey Yeji, today is our 6 th anniversary. I want to give you a big surprise. But unfortunately I didn't plan anything yet. Trust me I will make this day more memorable for our lifetime.

I chuckled at her entry. Yes it's true. She made that day a memorable one which I couldn't forget even if I tried to do so. After some blank lines there was another entry for the same day.

*Hey Yeji, I think I messed up a bit. No, I screwed it. Please, Don't call me a liar. I am not a liar. And I am not lying or cheating you. Actually I wanted to surprise you on our special occasion. But I couldn't think of any perfect idea. So I just took some help from my colleague. I know you are not a fan of her, but still she was the only creative person I know. That's why I couldn't give honest answers that time. Unexpectedly you saw us in the cafe, I know you might have misunderstood the situation. That's why I ran after you but you are quick to escape. Don't worry, I will wait for you till the end. I am not going to sleep or eat until I explain everything and ask for my apology. Come home fast. Please forgive me. I am sorry for the misunderstanding. Love you... always...*

Suddenly my eyes started to tear. Just because of my short temper I lost her. I should've waited a bit to listen to her. If I stayed a bit or at least picked her call, nothing worse would have happened. I must be a stupid to take decision in my impulsive state. I regret my life decision. My eyes were filled with water which blurred my vision. I froze in my state for a minute. Finally I wiped my tears to continue the reading.

*Oh Yeji, it's already been two days. I really miss seeing your eyes and sweet smile. Sorry this is my mistake. I shouldn't lie to you. If I didn't lie, we would probably spend this day happily in our house unlike staying sick in this hospital. Please come back soon. I can't see you suffering like this. Also I can't bear seeing Yuna's sad face. Please fight for your life. Please, Yeji , I can't lose you.*

I felt guilty while reading those words. I made her worried about the mistake she didn't commit. It's purely my misunderstanding. But still she asked for my forgiveness.

*Wow... Yeji. Thanks for fighting. I couldn't control my happiness once the doctor told me your signs are back to normal and they are shifting you to the normal ward. Even though you didn't wake up from the coma, I am feeling happy to be in your presence. Finally I can see you in close up and I can hold your hands. And He said you can hear me talking to you. Is it true? Are you listening to me? If yes, will you forgive me? Will you accept my apology? I am waiting for your reply. Please wake up soon. It's hurting like hell, without talking to you. Please look at me once again. Please.*
