Chapter 4 : Her other life

P.O.V: Levy

Lucy had left just before Gajeel came back with the ice blocks. "Here you are your highness." "Thanks." I said in my sweet voice that I usually use around Lucy and the others to this I quickly looked at Gajeel looking at me that way again.

"What?" I asked still using my tone he just looked at me and said "Sorry....you just never used that tone around me before." "You don't like it?" I asked him while I raised my eyebrow at him. "No I didn't mean it like that I just meant it was a different change and I like it, you should keep it like that." "Oh" was all I said while blushing like crazy.

Was I really starting to like him? I mean he just came back from my personal ice maker Juvia wheeling in 20 pieces of ice! Just for me, yeah I'm the princess but 20? I looked at Gajeel and feeling the heat rise to my cheeks. "G-Gajeel?" He looked at me and bowed "please don't bow. I want to ask you something. Please sit." I said as I patted the foot of the bed he looked at me and did as I said.

He sat down and stared at me "Do you like someone in the castle?" I just asked bluntly avoiding his red sea like eyes as I heard his voice deepen and become sincere. "Umm I don't know really, I mean there's this short girl with blue hair that I think has caught my attention but I don't know how I should feel about her....what about you?" I smiled as I looked at him and giggled "I'm sure you know him, in fact you two are actually close."

P.O.V: Gajeel

She looked at me and her smile was enough to kill on it's own and when she laughed.....oh I would kill how many people she told me to just to hear that laugh......Wait DAMN IT!! there I go again thinking of her like that again. "I'm sure you know him, in fact you two are actually close." She spoke and I felt kind of relived that she liked someone but I kind of wanted it to be me.

I gave off a little sigh remembering that she has to marry a prince not a knight and not only that but I'm a spy for the fire nation and all I wanted in this world was for this war to be over, but the more I think about the princess the more I question my loyalty to the fire nation. "Are you alright?" She asked me still using that sweet tone. "Yes I'm fine you shouldn't worry about a knight like me. I'm alright." I said giving a little smile.

She blushed a little when I smiled in her direction I thought it was the cutest thing ever. "But I do worry about you." when she said that I felt my heart beat a million miles an hour and my face heated up like I was thrown into a pit of fire. "Y-You do?" I asked not certain what I had heard was true. She nodded her head face blazing like the flicker of a small flame, I didn't know her face could go that red with her being the 'ice princess' and all. With all of this messing around I almost forgot that I had to go back to the fire nation and give my latest report on the ice kingdom tonight. But she is slowly making me really question my position in the war.

P.O.V: Levy

I looked at Gajeel and the sun was setting making his jet black hair a little lighter than it was. Wait.....the sun! "Gajeel thank you for you your time, I'm sure I have bothered you longer than I should have it was nice to talk to you goodbye." I pushed him out and slid down the door once it was closed. Like if in cue a girl in a tight black suite showed up through my window and leaned against the wall.

"Are you ever late Cana?" The suited figure took off her hood and smiled at me. "You know me Levy, when it comes to getting dirt on someone I'm never late." I just smiled at her going in my closet and coming out in the same suite but mine was loser than Cana's. She looked me up and down and finally shrugged her shoulders "Don't like it?" I asked her already knowing the answer "Needs to be tighter" and there it is. "Come on let's go" I said with a nerve seriously being pushed to the edge and jumped out the window to a tree that was right outside it.

In no time we reached the fire kingdom. Cana gave me a pill that helps me not to lose conciseness while I'm here in the heat. "Alright this is the spot where my intel is supposed to meat me at." she said as we hid under the dark shadow of a tree waiting for her intel to show up with the latest on what's happing in the fire kingdom and what they're planing. Three hours passed and Cana stood leaning against the tree where we had been hiding. " You're late." she said as she took out her sword and looked at it in the dim lighting. "S-sorry miss but here is your information.....just liked you asked." he made that last part really funny and not the 'haha' kind of way. Just then a group of men jumped out pushing Cana's intellect back behind them. I tried to run but I was knocked out when I was hit with something big and broad.
