Chapter 14 : Without you

P.O.V: Levy:

I smiled as I gave Gajeel my final words as I drifted off into a blissful and eternal slumber. I felt myself almost like I was floating and I couldn't feel pain. ~Am I dead?~ To be honest I didn't want to know if I was or not.

I smiled softly as I still felt Gajeel's arms around me. Wait a minute Gajeel! I'll miss him so much, I'll miss Lucy, Wendy, Lilly, and everyone I've met. A single tear went down my cheek but was quickly wiped away by a hand that felt so familiar.

"You?"

P.O.V: Gajeel :

I held Levy in my arms refusing to accept she was dead but she was. She kept me smiling even in death by the smile she had on her face but that stupid blood drip on the corner of her mouth didn't look right on her.

I wiped it away using a pool of water that was right beside us which made me laugh some because it started raining in the fire kingdom when Levy had died and water in the kingdom was considered a rare thing meaning that even the heavens were upset with today's events. "Gajeel we have to prep Levy for her funeral..I know you loved her and she loved you but you have to-" I cut Lucy off before she could finish that sentence. "Let go?"

She looked down shamefully and nodded tears starting to run down her face and Natsu she held her. Making me smile at him because it looked like I wasn't the only one who fell for someone from the ice kingdom.

P.O.V: Levy:

"M-Mom?!" Tears pricked my eyes as I saw my mother smiling at me as she opened her arms waiting for me to hug her. I waisted no time running into her arms crying as she held me tears running down her face as well.

"I can't believe you're here mom" I sobbed more as she held me tighter. "Yes my darling Levy it's me. You can't count the times I wanted to hold you in my arms." She started to cry more as I held her tighter. We finally let go and smiled at each other.

Her smile soon faded with her next words. "Levy my love you don't belong here yet." My smile faded at her words and tears formed in her eyes as she held me close. "I don't understand mom we're together now." She nodded as a tear slipped from her eye and landed on my head.

"I'm sorry Levy-" she kissed my head and and mumbled something letting me go and float away as I faded. "-tell Wendy I said hi and that I love her."

P.O.V: Gajeel :

Wendy was crowned princess after Levy had died. Apparently who ever had the crystal heart was named queen and it wouldn't accept Wendy instantly making her only the princess. She still arranged Levy's funeral making everything was to how Levy would've liked it killing me more.

The funeral arrangements were set as it started. Levy was in a glass coffin that was open so we could say goodbye and out some of her personal belongings in there that way she could be happy even in death. Wendy took the start in front of Levy's coffin as tears pricked her eyes and saying how much she'll be missed and how much she was loved. But I couldn't hear anything anyone was saying as my eyes were glued to her coffin wishing that this was only just a nightmare.

Lucy had just got done speaking her speech on how levy was important to her and how great she was. I didn't speak. And everyone accepted that understanding my pain and how much it hurts to just let her go. My eyes lifted up to see the crystal heart necklace that was just above Levy's coffin and I could have sworn that it shined the color of levy's eyes for just a split second.

I shook my head to try and clear it as I looked at the necklace as it glowed brightly as it lifted in the air and shined on levy making her lift in the air as it put its self on her neck and the next thing that happened. Well let's just say that NO ONE expected it.

P.O.V: Levy:

"MOM NOOO PLEASE!!" I begged her as she was sending my soul back to my body in the real world and back into my body and I caught glimpse of Gajeel and. My funeral. I felt things again the air filling my lungs , sound entering my ears, smell invading my nose. And the necklace going around my neck.

My body gently lifted down into my coffin as a gulp of air entered my lungs and I heard people gasp as my chest started to move again. I then heard a loud thump as someone hit the ground near my coffin and started to touch my face whispering in my ear.

"Levy?" My eyes shot open to the sound of his voice as I looked over to see his face slowly starting to cry. "Hi Gajeel." He smiled and kissed me deeply as I kissed him back and he lifted me up and helped me on to my feet as I was soon knocked down by a little girl with blue hair and my old princess crown.

"Hello Wendy." I smiled and petted her head. "How come you never told me? I could have helped you..sissy.." My heart dropped at her words and a smile formed on my face as I held her close kissing her head. "I'm sorry Wendy I didn't want you to worry because of me." She shook her head then looked behind me smiling letting me go and skipped away. I looked behind me to see Gajeel smiling that cocky smile I love with his arms open.

I ran into them hugging him as if I were going to lose him then he put two fingers under my chin and lifted my head to face him as he brushed my hair out of my face and kissed me holding me close to him making sure I was real. "I missed ya shrimp." I blushed at the name and he continued to speak. "I was really question life without ya so." He got down on one knee.

"I don't have a ring right now but it can't wait." I covered my mouth as tears formed in my eyes. "Queen Levy Mcgarden I know that I'm from another nation and I'm not of royalty but that doesn't stop my love for you and I hope you feel the same way as I do. But will you do me the highest honor and become my wife?" I stood there speechless and nodded my head "Yes. Yes I will."

He smiled as he got up and kissed me one last time before we heard both nations that had once came to a funeral was now the witness of a marriage proposal. ~I don't think that my life would have been the same if I had left everyone here....thank you mom.~
