Chapter 13 : My life is yours

P.O.V: Gajeel :

When the necklace slammed me into the bars of the tower I was saying so many curses in my head but I was distracted by it wrapping it's self around Levy's neck and Levy glowed a light blue then she looked at a wall that had a opening in it and placed her necklace on it reveling a passage to a place I've never seen before.

I flowed her down the winding staircase making sure she was okay when we got to this big cage that was home to a pare of red and sliver eyes. She smiled as her and the eyes started talking in another language that I had no knowledge of. But what I did understand was "Are you boy's ready to have your freedom?"

I was going to question everything that was going on until a ear piercing roar was echoed through the cell causing me to cover my ears. Levy took off her necklace and placed it on a pad against the cage. My mouth hung open when I saw the wall in the cell open letting in streams of light in to show the glowing eyes to be. DRAGONS!!! And not just any dragons but mine and Natsu's dad's.

P.O.V: Levy:

The dragons were now being freed from their prison and the cage door went up as the wall was now wall the way down. I began to follow the dragons when my arm was grabbed by Gajeel and a grave look was on his face.

"Did you know?" I was confused by his question but before I could ask what he meant he pointed to the dragons. "I've had voices in my head for years but they didn't tell me they were dragons till of late. Why do you want to know?" His head hung down then looked up at me saying "The red one is Natsu's father and the sliver one is mine."

I was shocked by what he said....'Natsu and Gajeel were raised by dragons?!' "Did you know? I won't ask again Levy." I thought about his question and remembered when two dragons went into the tower when I was little. I sighed nodding my head. "I see." He sounded hurt so I tired explaining myself. "I was very little Gajeel I thought they were just dragons I-" I was cut off by him slamming his fist in the wall and him yelling.

"JUST DRAGONS!?! HAVE YOU ANY IDEA WHAT IT WAS LIKE WITHOUT A FATHER!!?" Tears welded up in my eyes as I looked at him. "Yes Gajeel I do know actually. In fact I had to grow up knowing that my father died by the hands of Natsu and my mother was held captive in a palace by another nation so yes Gajeel I DO KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO BE ALL ALONE." I broke down into tears running to the sliver dragon and getting on it.

I sighed recollecting myself as I looked at Gajeel and said "Now if you don't mind I have a war to end."

P.O.V: Gajeel:

I instantly regretted yelling at Levy after I had done it she yelled back saying everything she went through as a kid and I felt even worse. She broke down running to my dad and getting on his back. I could feel his disapproval along with Igneel's. She recollected herself as she looked at me and said "Now if you don't mind I have a war to end." And with that Metalicana, Igneel, and Levy flew off but not before Metalicana wrapped his tail around my waist making me come with them.

'It's not her fault you know.' I sighed as I felt him finally talk to me after all these years and I knew he was right. We flew into the fire kingdom and I looked up at Levy to see she was surrounded by a protective orb around her. Both dragons landed at the castles front entrance and as expected guards and out pointing swords at us.

"LOWER YOUR WEPONS AT ONCE." I heard Natsu yell from the gate as it opened he ran to Igneel and was greeted by a Igneel slamming his foot on him. "You idiot. Why would you continue a pointless war with this nice young lady and hold her mother captive!" Natsu flinched at his fathers words and said "To get you back her mom held you guys captive." This time Metalicana spoke up. "We weren't held captive we volunteered to go."

P.O.V: Levy:

Natsu and the dragons were arguing and I haven't even gotten off of Metalicana I think his name was. It was an hour when Natsu finally gave up and Igneel helped me off of Metalicana and over to Natsu.

"Natsu Dragneel. I Levy Mcgarden of the Ice Kingdom propose a truce between our nations and end this war for I have brought your kingdoms rulers back home." He thought for a moment and nodded his head showing he agreed for us to end his war.

I smiled but it quickly faded when I heard Erza and Mira with my army charging at the fire kingdom. Erza had her eyes locked on Gajeel as she charged ahead of the rest aiming her sword at him.

P.O.V: Gajeel:

Everything was in a blur the war was over with a quick exchange and a few words of apology then the sound of an army was heard in the distance. As Levy's face was shocked at her army's actions I didn't notice that Erza was charging at me until.

Levy jumped in front of me just before Erza had struck me. She had take the blow for me! She fell and I caught her before she hit the ground instantly feeling blood pour on my hands and legs.

After seeing what she had done Erza and Mira called off the attack and Metalicana explained everything to them as Erza fell to her knees in tears. I was brought back to Levy when her small and....bloody hand was placed on my face while she tried to deal with the pain and tried to breathe as tears poured out of her eyes.

I held her hand tight kissing her head. "Try to stay clam my love." Tears fell from my eyes as she wiped them away. "D-Don't c-c-cr-cry my l-love." I smiled and only cried more by her words.

"Im sorry Levy this is all my fault if I was the one at the end of the bla-." She cut me off by a kiss but soon after she coughed up blood as it dripped from the corner of her mouth. "I did this for you. My life is yours." She put something in my hand and closed her eyes as she gave her final breath. "LEVY!!
NOOOOOO!!!!"
