Chapter 7 : The escape

P.O.V: Levy
While Gajeel went to go get Cana I was working on finding us a way out I here not only was I a kind princess but I was a smart one as well. I went over to the bars of the cell that was showing light but I couldn't see out if it.

"Stupid shortness" I muttered to myself hating my hight and wishing that Gajeel was still here so he could see out of it or boost me up so I could see. After looking around I found a stone that could stay still while I was on it, I dragged it over to the window and climbed on it and I could see out the window but it wasn't a hopeful sight a prisoner wished to see.

Outside was a river of melting lava that was right outside the window to be flowing in. "That can't be possible. He must have some kind of incantation on it to keep the heat and the lava out of the cell." I said to myself trying to think of a new way out but I failed in my search and gave up falling to the floor.

The door to the dungeon was open and the steady but familiar clinking of heavy armor was coming to the cell. Over his shoulder was Cana who was beaten up pretty bad. He opened the door and put her on the floor gently. I crawled over to her grabbing her hand fighting the tears that on the verge of coming out. "Don't worry Cana well get out of here." I looked up at Gajeel and let one tear flow out "He promised and I trust him." At this random moment I remembered back in my room where Gajeel asked who I liked.

"Gajeel back in my room when you asked who I liked and I thought I would tell you now." He looked like he prepared him self for what I was going to say so I started to speak again thinking who I really did like and he popped in my mind. His red sea like eyes and how I would just get lost in them when I tired to talk to him, his long black spiky hair and the way it looked when the sun shined through it, his confident voice always made him sound so sure of everything, and the way his eyes and hard expression broke when I cried. OH MY GOSH DID I FALL FOR HIM!!????

"I like well I think it's more like love." I paused when I heard the sound of flapping wings and then I had to cover Cana with what little body I had to make sure that debris from the wall didn't it her. I turned to see a giant black panther with a sword drawn, ice armor, and a scar over his right eye. "LILLY!!" I yelled as he turned and smiled and Cana and me.

P.O.V: Gajeel
"LILLY!!" Is what levy shouted at the black panther and he turned and smiled at the two girls before picking them both up in his arms before turning back to the hole in the wall. "Wait Lilly take him with us please." He gave her a confused look as he looked at my armor and tattoo on my arm. she nodded her head as he put her on his back and picked me up from behind the collar.

"Ummmm I don't mean to be rude but...CAN WE GET OUT OF THE AIR?!?" I shouted at the black cat who was flying around Levy's castle and refusing my silent requests to land so I wouldn't wake Levy who had fallen asleep on the way here but was now wide awake from my shouting. " What is going on here?" She asked as she looked at Lilly who smiled sheepishly and landed. He tossed me on the ground but I was quickly picked up and held by my own guards Freed and Elfman holding me up in front of Lilly who I now remembered was one of the people who was attacked by my ambush that I set up.

"My,my Gajeel I must say we are really disappointed in you. But then again we...I mean 'I' had my suspicion that you were a spy of how much you knew about the fire kingdom." Erza had said along with Mirajane the two people or should I say she devils I didn't want to run into while I got caught on my double life. " I owe you black steel.." Mira walked closer death in her eyes. "For hurting my sister."

Erza walked over to levy who still had her hood off and bowed in front of her. "Princess we had a suspicion we had a spy amongst us after our troops were attacked. Lilly had came looking for you in rough shape saying something about betrayer. Then there was Lissana who woke up screaming Gajeel's name saying he was the one who attacked the troops and betrayed us. We will throw him in the dungeon and await your command."
