A touch of your hand -
Drives the radical force of a thousand gushing rivers!
Fingers running through my hair strands,
Electrically sends intense shivers.
Do you see a glimpse of what could've been us?
A taste of heaven that wasn't meant to last.
Do you feel it as our fingers brush?
Are you alarmed cause your heart is in a rush?
When the tall oak tree breaks,
It's the roots that ache.
When you're falling into the lake,
It's the waters that shake.
Your eyes still lack the love that I seek
I'm still far from what you need.
And the mountains I've crossed, all the mastered seas,
And we would run a thousand more miles to find our peace.
I let you float in my satin-pink sky,
Made you a silken cloud to lie,
But I still sit there without life
Without the one who saves me with a smile.
