This requires a couple of fights. Buying a house together is out of the question for both of you - for him because he wouldn't allow you to draw out your purse in almost every occasion, especially this one, and for you because you hate this patriarchal side of him. So you end up moving your stuff into his place (let's call things what they are: a freaking mansion) while you still keep paying the mortgage for your apartment in Barcelona for both of you to use if you need it. How's the whole moving process? You don't even know it is in fact processing because it all happens as quickly as the man's racing car goes. He just needs to make a few phone calls and there you are, packed-unpacked-redecorated and sipping hot matcha in his kitchen that's also your kitchen now.

I like this arrangement, it's perfectly balanced. You have a house in Italy, he has one in Monaco, and both are fully and equally equipped. He loves living in Italy but still wants to have a chance to spend some time in his hometown, and you want the same thing for yourself, which is why you both own a house and just share the one according to where you are. Although, to give you a more specific and somewhat fixed pattern, let's say you spend most of the time in Italy and use the building (because that's what he owns, of course - you thought he'd settle for a mere flat? Are you insane?) as a summer house. Moving process, as you can easily assume, isn't really necessary.
