IT HAD BEEN 6 MONTHS . . .

december 4th
— central city

it was a nice day out in central city. birds were chirping, no clouds in the sky, the sun seemingly smiled down at the earth. flash and kid flash had just finished up catching some bad guys, the usual.

"did you see how fast i ran? yeah, i know you did, 'cause i was GREAT!" kid flash was over joyed at their success. "yes i saw, kid." flash had his arms crossed a grin on his face, watching his protégé continue ramble about the mission.

"uh, flash?" a police officer on the scene tapped the hero's shoulder, a hum sound coming out of his mouth as a response. the officer pointed to the sky, there was something falling at frightening speeds. "what the hell is that?" he inquired, as he nudge kid flash who shrugged.

the two ran over buildings trying to see if they can catch it before it crashes. everytime they got close they missed it by a hair. "kid, go clear the cars and everyone in the area." kid flash nodded and did as he was told.

with a squint of his eyes, he saw something in it, no, actually . . . it was a someone. noticing that it was too late the ship had crashed. he made it to the streets where kid flash was when the fog cleared.

"i saw someone in it!" flash exclaimes the two taking off scattered rocks that were blocking their view. the screen protecting what was inside had opened the two heros mouth gaped as they looked inside. "is she . . alive?" kid asked, flash checking her pulse. "for now . . . we have to take her to star labs, and notify the league." he stated.

"are you nervous?" black canary asked her, watching as the tamaranian's leg fumble. her knee moving up and down, her arms crossing over her chest, her tongue being pierced by her teeth. "i'll take that as a yes." the blonde gave her a smile, one that could smooth over her nerves even if they were just temporary.
