Darkfire sat all by herself in the hall of justice, a place she learned to call home. It was still safe to say that she was bored, fairly bored. She was waiting for anything; a call from the boys mostly. it have almost hit the one hour mark and she grew weary.

Should I? She thought. She paced around the room so much that her feet got tired, switching over to floating insisted.

"Incoming Transmission, Batman." The computer alerted. Darkfire's husky purple eyes widened, terrified. Quickly thinking of any excuse she could before excepting it. "Darkfire, how's everything going?"

"Perfectly fine, sir." She bit the side of her cheek anxiously as Batman looked around, taking in the lack of teenage boys. "Where are the guys?" His eyebrow raised and Darkfire's breathe hitched. "Uh, they are exploring the hall! I just got tired so I came back here." An awkward giggle escaped her mouth watching his eyes, even though covered, pierce through her soul. "Very well. Make sure they don't break anything, specifically Kid Flash, check back later." When the call dropped she immediately sighed in relief.

Her hand reaching the pocket she had put the device given to her in. The coordinates of the location being the first thing she saw. When the clock finally warned her it had been an hour, she left so quickly she looked like a blur.

Cadmus was safe to say scary. It reminded her of the great caverns of Tamaran that her care taker, Galfore, would tell her stories of. The eerie vibe that is, not looks at least from what she saw it looked like any other lab.

Until, she took a closer look. Sneaking in was easy, especially once she saw the free elevator entry. She took a quick look around, making sure nobody saw her as she flew into the space.

Turn right

She winced; her eyes darted around the small room, no one was there. But a door was, to her right. She sighed and opened the door with her hands as quietly as she could.
