Rory was tired.
Of waiting that is. It's been hours since Dinah woke her up for a session and a bonus surprise, yet here she was. Slumped on the couch watching TV until either Dinah or Oliver came home to tell her what was going on or why they left so abruptly.
Her head laid back as fingers played with the hem of her sleeves. Boredom struck through her body, watching whatever was on TV was not on her itinerary for the day and she planned to keep it that way.
Roriand'r rolled off the couch and made her way to her room, putting on her suit and covering it with a hoodie. She'd rather be at Mount Justice than be at home doing absolutely nothing, at least she'd have company.
"I told you she was gonna try and leave." Her head whipped to her door where she saw Oliver and Dinah catching her. The former having a goofy grin on his face. "Me? Leave? I would never." Rory stuffed her hands in her pockets in the effort to seem casual, yet was met with the unimpressed face of Dinah. Oliver on the other hand was having a blast.
"Take off the hoodie, Ro." She sighed at the woman's order, yet did so anyways. "Called it!" He chirped as soon as he saw the purple suit decorated with metal. "I'll take it off." She disappointingly whined, a pout decorating her lips as she slowly turned to get casual clothes.
"No, keep it on." Her words left Rory dumbfounded, whipping her head around and blinking at the blonde, mouth agape. "Come again?"
"We're going to Gotham. The two of us are gonna be helping Batman and Robin on a mission. Imma get dressed and we'll head to the Zeta-tube." When Dinah walked away Oliver and Rory waited until she turned the corner to let out squeals.
The blonde celebrated with the young girl, giving each other a high-five as they giggled. A huge smile was plastered on her face. She wasn't excited because he was Batman, she was excited because this was a mission she would never expect... and yeah he was also Batman. It gave her a chance to get to know the legend so many speak about. Roriand'r had spoken to him every once and awhile, but her first ever memory of him was when she could only speak her mother tongue.

Crystals of liquid rolled on fair skin that was scarred, trying to tie itself back together by singular threads that could barely breathe. Pools of green stained the room. Hisses of pain escaped pale lips that bit every time the pain felt worse. Tears threatened to spill yet she fought. She could not be weak in front of the many eyes in front of her. There was a peak of light when the sliding doors let a three men and a boy pass through. "Batman, Flash, Superman, and Robin.. welcome."
