Mount Justice

Rory didn't know how amusing it was to win against Wally, it was amazing. The two were played some sort of desk hockey and Wally had been boasting for almost an hour after beating both Robin and Kaldur, so naturally, Rory had to put him in his place.

"Yes!"
"Oh, come on that was a technicality!" He protested, seeing how Rory squealed and the rest, Robin mostly, laughed. "How?" She countered. "Uh, give me a sec I'll think about a reason."

"Recognised: Superboy, B-0-5." The team turned to see an angrier than usual Superboy, who walked right through their virtual desk hockey game, consequently putting a pronounced frown on the Tammaranian's face.

"Hi, Superboy! How was Metropolis?" M'gann chirped, her eyes practically twinkled when she saw the grumpy Kryptonian. Even if he walked right past here, although he halted when they heard someone clear their throat.

"Ready for training, everyone?"

"Canary!" Rory's feet came up from off the ground as she made it towards her mentor, the two engulfing each other in their arms.

"Uncle J'onn!" M'gann had a similar idea to Rory as she spotted her uncle. "How's it going, Ro?" The blonde woman asks her as they pull apart. "I'm adjusting."
"We have another session next week, okay? I also have a surprise for you since you've improved so much." Her feet lift off the ground to have her float as she smiled from ear to ear. The sessions were private lessons Canary had been doing for Rory since they got her to speak. Mostly training, but also therapy. Not only emotional, but physical.

Roriand'r came out of that pod a wreck; a brutal, scarred, and angry wreck. She had refused to let anyone close to her for about a month after Flash and Wally got her to Star Labs, but slowly Canary was able to help her regain her confidence as a fighter. The emotional bit was still a work in progress.

Dinah Lance couldn't even bare to hear the atrocities this young girl had to face, Rory couldn't bare talking about it before lashing out or going into a crying fit. Over the months it's gotten better, Rory has learned to talk about her past without throwing tantrums, but now the issue seems to be her burying down her feelings or flat out being nonverbal.

Rory has learned to not fear these sessions as she know enjoys them, but now she was just curious to know what surprise Canary has in store.

From the corner of her eye, Dinah saw Superboy leaving the area, making sure to call him out.

"Stick around. Class is in session." The woman made her way to the center as Rory stepped back
I consider it an honor to be your teacher.
"I'll throw a lot at you. Everything I've learned from my own mentors—" As Dinah slipped off her jacket, she groaned, the pain obvious and their attention being drawn to the bandages wrapped around her arm. Yet she continued. "And my own bruises."
