Kaede cleared her schedule for lunch with Albedo on Sunday. While she put together an outfit with ease, Albedo called over both Kaeya and Ayato to help him. He wanted to put in effort to show he cared. Ayato teased him about his effort but Kaeya agreed with Albedo as he's trying to put effort into his fake relationship too.

Out of the three, Ayato was the one putting the least amount of effort into his relationship. But, he still felt possessive over Komi for some reason. He didn't realize it though. It was hard to tell who was putting in the most effort between Kaeya and Albedo. While old feelings still lingered within Kaeya, Albedo was the first person to see this charming side of Kaede.

"What are you doing?" "I'm calling Luma. If anyone knows how to put a good outfit together, it's them," Kaeya explained, waiting for them to pick up. They finally did after several rings. "What's up?" "Hey so uhh...Albedo's going out with your cousin and needs help finding an outfit." Albedo glared at Kaeya, trying to grab his phone to hang up the call. "I don't need their help," he whisper-snapped.

"Fine, I'm only doing this for Kae. Just put on black jeans and a nice sweater or something. But, make sure the sweater matches at least," Luma explained on speaker. Albedo stopped reaching for Kaeya's phone, realizing it was a good idea. "Oh...alright," he said, heading over to his closet. He got a pair of black jeans and a navy blue sweater along with a white collar shirt to wear under.

The boys stepped out of the room to let Albedo change in private. "So...what are you doing right now?" Kaeya asked Luma. "Watching anime. It's boring today. Ko's out with Ayaka and Kae has the thing with Albedo. Also Xiao has work." "I thought he was a streamer," Kaeya said, staring at Ayato to confirm it. "Yeah but he still has a job." "Where?" "Probably Hot Topic," Ayato said quietly. "Shut the fuck up," Kaeya told him, chuckling slightly.

"He works at Peet's, you asshole," Luma said, groaning because their patience ran thin with Ayato. "I did not expect someone like Xiao to work at Peet's," he said, laughing. "I didn't expect my best friend to fake date a fucking douche but here we are," Luma bit back. "They have a point. You are the douchiest out of all of us," Kaeya said, agreeing with Luma.

"You're so whipped, dude," Ayato said, chuckling. "Shut the fuck up," Kaeya whisper-shouted at him again, hoping Luma didn't hear it. "I'm gonna end the call and facetime you so I can see Albedo's outfit. Okay?" Luma asked through the phone. "Alright, yeah sure. See you." "Kay, bye." Luma hung up the call.

Moments later, Kaeya received a facetime call from Luma. "Damn, you really look this hot while watching anime?" He asked as soon as he saw them after answering. "Shut the fuck up. Is Albedo done getting dressed?" Luma asked, resting their phone on their knees which they pulled to their chest. Albedo opened the door after they finished their question, showing his outfit.
