Rhea Griffin
It's the day of the wax museum and I'm flipping my shit right now. I've been up for the past half an hour just laying in Asher's bed mentally freaking out. Asher is still sound asleep but should be waking up soon.
Against my better judgment I curl up into his body's warmth, taking it in while I still can. With my luck, of course, Asher begins to stir a few moments after I get comfortable.
His eyes open and his confusion is evident on his face, before the events of last night pop into his head. He lets out a groan and moves so he's directly facing me. We may have gotten a bit distracted preparing for the wax museum, ending with him thinking he could beat me in a fight.
"Darling..." He drawls, "Remember to remind me to never get on your bad side."
"I told you so." I smirk.
"I don't know why I thought it would be a good idea." He whispers so quietly I could barely hear. Thankfully we didn't box, and just wrestled a bit, which is not my forte, and was a bit more difficult than boxing, especially with my leg still being messed up. Yet somehow I still beat this loser, which you can tell by the dark bruise on his neck from me 'accidently' kicking him.
"We kind of got to go soon." I add.
"Shit, for real? What time is it?"
"7:46."
"Fuck, Rhea, yeah we kind of got to go now, we have to set up everything and get into our costumes and shit."
"Oh, damn, okay." I reply, annoyed, hoping I'd get a few more moments of peace with Asher. Asher gets up quickly and starts hastily getting ready, I sit for a few moments longer content on just watching him before he gives me a look basically saying 'get off your ass.' I send an 'okay okay, calm down' look back.
We finish up with everything we have to do at his house, grabbing all of our stuff, and getting into his car to head to school.
"Are you ready, darling?" He questions.
"Physically? Mentally? Spiritually? Financially? Socioeconomically? You got to be more specific." I grumble.
"I'm going to take that as a no." He laughs.
"I just want to get this over with. You know when we were assigned partners I begged our teacher to let me skip out, or at least do it on my own. I did not want to be partners with you."
"Aw, I'm touched darling, I knew you've always loved me." Asher sarcastically replies and I scoff.
"I'm so excited to be done with this and get rid of you forever, I will finally have peace in my life."
"I'm the thing that's stopping you from peace?" He laughs, pulling into a parking lot at school, "Not the brutal fighting you do every week?"
Instead of responding I get out of the car, he follows and we grab our stuff and head inside. There is a sign on our classroom door telling us to go to the gym. We walk to the gym and see about 1/3 of our grade. The other 2/3 of our grade, along with the rest of the school will all be walking around each group asking questions and listening to our stories.
I spot Roman and Elysia arguing over something, so I walk over to them.
"Rhea!" Elysia yells, "First of all, I missed your cute ass, second tell Roman he's being a dumbass."
"Hey! I'm not being a fucking dumbass you're being the fucking dumbass. Asher, back me up." Roman says, as Asher walks up next to me
Before Asher can respond Elysia butts in, and she and Roman are arguing back and forth.
