Aemma Velaryon was the spitting image of her mother; she had pale silver hair, fair skin, and dazzling blue eyes. She was a Targaryen in all sense but her last name which she bore from her father Laenor Velaryon. She was the younger twin of Lucerys...

Aemma bolted upright as she heard a roar that shook her to her core. Vhagar, she thought to herself.
"Aemond!" She gasped his name in surprise. Had he truly not heeded her warnings? Aemma threw herself out of bed and ran as fast as she could outside, silently pleading for Terrax to come to her. Sensing his rider's anxiety, Terrax had been circling above and landed as Aemma ran to him. He simply knelt as she climbed onto the saddle.
"Good, Terrax. Find Vhagar!" Aemma reached down and stroked his neck as he took flight into the chilly night. As they ascended towards the sky, Aemma could not mistake the mass that flew over the water for anything but Vhagar, her green scales seemingly almost black in the dark.
"Go to her, Terrax." Aemma rubbed his neck to offer encouragement as he let out an uneasy roar. Aemma could feel his apprehension to approach the monstrous Vhagar as she simply glided over the waters but obeyed his rider. As they approached, Aemma squinted to see a small figure clinging to the saddle on her back. Aemond.
"Closer, Terrax. Be calm. Obey. Serve." Terrax let out a sound that almost sounded like a whimper as he made his way to Vhagar.
"Aemond!" She yelled out but her voice was carried away by the wind. Terrax knew what Aemma was going to request of him and flew even closer, now flying side by side with Vhagar.
"Aemma! I did it!" Aemond laughed as he lifted one arm in the air in celebration. Aemma could not help but offer a sad smile as she knew what was going to happen next.
"Fly with me!" She called out to him. She wanted to make this moment one that brought happy memories, despite what was waiting for them when they landed. As they flew together, it felt less like Vhagar and Terrax, it felt as if it were just Aemma and Aemond, soaring through the air, together.
They circled Driftmark three times before landing next to the cave that led to the castle. Aemma watched as Aemond slowly climbed down the ropes that led to Vhagar's saddle. Aemma did not think Vhagar could appear even larger, however, she was mistaken. Terrax looked like a hatchling next to her, and Aemond an ant. As Aemma descended from her saddle, she approached Aemond, who simply pulled her into a hug.
"Nothing bad has happened, I assure you what you saw must not be true." He said as he released Aemma. He felt his heart race as he slowly took Aemma's hands in his, and he gazed longingly at her lips. Aemma swallowed as Aemond leaned in, ever so slightly.
"Is it alright if I..." His voice trailed off, yet Aemma knew what he was asking.
"Yes." She whispered so quietly she didn't think he had heard her, but he did. Aemond leaned towards her slowly, giving her every chance to stop him if she wished. She didn't. Aemond pressed the gentlest of kisses onto her lips, so light she wondered if he even felt it.
He did. He thought his whole world was going to implode as he simply pulled away and rested his forehead on Aemma's. He would never fly again if it meant he could do this with Aemma every day once they were married.
