Sonic was in a white tube top, that covered his chest, and a light pink baggy silk pajama pants, the omega had Shadow's red emblem on the side of his hip, he groans as his eyes flutter open, he sits up from his bed, rubbing his eyes, he looks over to see the space next him still neatly untouched, the blue hedgehog looks down. His phone pings and grabbing it he saw that it was message from Shadow, telling him to get mansion ready for a party.
"Right..." Sonic said to himself, he took a deep breath and lets out sigh, he simply just texted back, he got out of bed popping his back into place, without Shadow laying with him, the blue hedgehog started to suffer from back aches, sure he was a hedgehog and is able to curl up into a ball, but as of lately he really hasn't been doing anything like that, and cuddling with his partner, or a comfy body pillow helps out. He opens the draw in the nightstand, opening up a pill bottle that had his name on it. The blue hedgehog pops the pill into his mouth and swallows it. "Maybe...this party will be better..." Sonic tells himself as he goes downstairs to start cooking and finish up cleaning.
It was rough day, for the omega, his Alpha always leaves in morning, so he always had to make breakfast for himself, as well as lunch, but cook a big meal for him an his husband, then it was either sex or his husband going to his study to continue his work. He wipes the sweat away from his forehead, his ear twitches and the front door opened to reveal Shadow, with a bag of groceries for the dessert he wanted Sonic to bake. Shadow comes up behind his omega rubs the shorter male's tail making him flinch, "Nya~ S-shadow~" Sonic moans, the black and red hedgehog chuckle. "You better wear that fancy pink dress..." Shadow said pulling Sonic's head to make him look at Shadow, who just leaned in to give the omega a kiss on his lips.

Shadow was busy greeting the guests that showed up to his party, it was nothing special just a little get-together, the blue hedgehog, fluffed out his dress, it was a light pink strapless dress, that brought out his curves, a slit at the leg to show of the white ankle socks, with pink heels, white elbow length silk gloves, the pink arm band on his arm, and light make up. The blue hedgehog straightens out his quills before letting out a sigh, "Okay Sonic...you can do this...this is probably the only time your going see your friends..." he said to himself in the mirror.
"So where is he?"
With that Sonic got up from his seat and opened the door, just get this over with and you can back to having a relaxing day...hopefully.
The shorter male walks over to Shadow, to help him greet the guests, so many unfamiliar faces, besides a certain white bat, that was wearing a sparkly purple dress, with black elbow length gloves, a necklace was a glowing green gem shard hanging off of it, as well as a ring on her finger, black eyeliner, and lipstick, with matching high-top heels, and a Red Echidna, wearing a black suit, with a white shirt, black dress shoes, same necklaces that the bat was wearing, as well as a ring hanging off of it. the bat had a purple arm band and the echidna a dark blue arm band. This is Rouge and Knuckles, retired G.U.N Agent, and Former Guardian of the Master Emerald.
Two pink hedgehogs, one that had quills that curled downwards like straight hair, and the other had quills that were similar to the blue hedgehog's just with two side quills, same bangs, and jaded eyes, same light peach pink muzzle, underbelly, and arms, but wearing different outfits, the one with straight quills, was wearing a silver dress, with matching heels, white elbow length gloves, a silver head band with a silver rose attached to it, as well as light makeup, to match. The other pink hedgehog, was wearing a black dress, that faded into a deep blue at the bottom, with black heels, black fingerless elbow length gloves, and black make up. This is Amelia or Amy and her twin sister Rosy.
Sonic wanted to greet them, but seeing that they were betas, it was just best to leave them alone...he knew where he stood, in this world were ranks matter. Shadow had pulled him to hangout with the omegas that were at the party, most of them were females, and just looked rather nicely dressed, he did his best to fake his happy emotions, though he was truly crying on the inside.
After all few drinks, drinks that Sonic wasn't allowed to drink, the party really started to get boring, for the blue hedgehog. He over the females of his friends talking about the future, and plans for the week, while he was stuck in doors most of the time.
Sonic slams the door to the master bedroom shut, he wasn't needed at the party, he just waited for the party to end so he can just clean up after everyone, he felt the tears forming in the corners of his eyes, how long has been living like this?
He just started to cry to himself, everyone was living their best life, while he was stuck suffering, he really did miss those days when, Shadow actually cared about his well-being, and his feelings, but now, that wasn't the same black and red hedgehog he knew, sure he cared, but it was just always cold, didn't sound like he meant it.

Shadow said goodbye to the last guest, he looked around at mess that party had made, closing the door to the house, he goes upstairs to see how his omega was doing. He opened the door to the bedroom, looking around, seeing that the dress was neatly hung up in that closet. He lets out a sigh, and grabs the black hoodie, that was stained with dried blood, on the sleeves, no matter how many loads the hoodie went through the stains were still there, he grabbed a pair of jeans, this was almost a normal thing for him, to do after a big event that he was forced to plan, or host. He tries the doorknob to the bathroom door, surprised to see that it was unlocked he pushes the door open.
Sonic had just passed out on the bathroom sink, his arms a complete blooding mess with deep cuts, from the azure male cutting his flesh, with a razor blade, his muzzle stained with his own tears, and similar slices on his thighs. This isn't the first time Shadow walked in on his omega in this state...he has walked in on the omega doing the action, had he stopped him, countless times, but just wasn't enough to stop him for good.
Shadow gently moves Sonic's arm to the sink turning the water on she started to wash blood away.
After bandaging up Sonic's and getting him clothed Shadow lays the hedgehog in bed, tucking him in before taking his leave.
