Five months had past, Sonic sniffs and wipes the tears away from his eyes his body covered in more cuts from the razor blade that was resting on the sink, he hadn't gone to work in weeks, mostly because it left him mentally scarred, and brought back old memories of his horrible past, being mistreated, and treated like some object, all because of his rank.
"Damnit Hedgehog..." Shadow grumbled as he just opened the door to the bathroom. He does have respect for his omega's privacy, it's just recently when the suicide attempts through out the years of their marriage, he had cameras installed inside and outside of his mansion. The azure omega just tilted his ears back in shame, he hated being a burden, but he also hated when seeing Shadow upset with him.
"I-I'm sorry..." Sonic admits. Shadow was just busy cleaning out the wounds and checking to see if any of the cuts needed stitching, he takes the bandages out of the cabinet and started wrapping them around Sonic's arm to stop the bleeding.
"You need to stop doing this...Sonic" Shadow scolded.
"...D-Does it m-make you unhappy with m-me?..." Sonic asked.
The alpha stopped to think, he can be cold and distant from Sonic, sometimes, but he truly cares about his husband even if the only why to show it is by helping him calm down and trust him, he reaches out to wipe away the tears from Sonic's cheeks, "Yes...it's makes me unhappy to see you hurt."
The blue hedgehog, pins his ears down, he nuzzles his face into Shadow's chest fur. "I'm sorry..." he mutters. "Ssh, I just want you safe...that's all I want" He plants a kiss on the blue hedgehog's forehead.
It was very unclear how many traumatic events Sonic had that made him so depressed, and fearful about small things. Either way Shadow had to be patient with Sonic.
Shadow picks up Sonic and carries him off to bed, this week was very eventful, but next week was going to be hard for the alpha...he couldn't take another week off of work after all cases of trials will start piling up in his office, he lets out a sigh and lays Sonic down on the bed on his back, the blue hedgehog still had his ears tilted back in shame, for hurting his husband because of his actions. He tilts Sonic's head so that he was looking at the alpha, the omega can feel his alpha's breath on his muzzle.
"Did you take your supplements today?" Shadow asked.
"Y-You t-told me n-not to..." Sonic stutters, he bit his button lip, he knows Shadow wanted keep him safe, but he also knew that the alpha was also trying to get him pregnant...though he knew it was to just get his father to leave him alone about continuing his legacy and keeping the bloodline, but with Sonic's mental state, he didn't really want any...it was mostly the fear of him, not being a good parent, or one of them becoming like he is.
"I know your lying...but we can worry about that later, you are giving of a strong scent" Shadow tells Sonic.
"W-wha-Mmm?!" Sonic felt a pair of warm lips pressing against his own, making his ears perked up like a shocked little rabbit, "Mmm~" he moans feeling Shadow's hands explore his body.
He turns his head from Shadow's muzzle his ear tilting back, a thin strain of saliva on his tongue, "Not ready?..." Shadow asked.
Sonic felt like he was going to break down again, he didn't hate Shadow. No, he hated his traumatic past that made him into what his is...a coward, an obedient slut. He always ruined the moment when Shadow want to have fun him, he can understand if the alpha started to cheat on him, he wouldn't be upset about it, since he understood.
Shadow lets out a sigh, and pulls away from Sonic. "Just get some rest..." he said.
"S-Sorry..." Sonic muttered he just sniffed and flinches when the bedroom door was closed shut. It's been a month, and the two really didn't had have an sex since, and it wasn't Sonic's fault. He just hugged the pillow and started to softly cry into it.
