Nash's POV
I'm on patrol when I see this beautiful tiger but it's too big for its size. Maybe it's a shifter, a very rare shifter.
It's so beautiful, with stripes all over except it's paws and tail. She has golden eyes with blue flecks in them. Weird but cool.
I can smell she is female.
I inch closer when my paw steps on a branch and she runs.
I run after her but she is so fast that I have to push her a little to get her to stop. But she crashes into a tree and falls limp.
I go and take a good look at her when my wolf (aka Blake) speaks up 'she is our mate. Bring mate to pack house'
I take her by the scruff of her fur and head to the pack house.
When I get there I call the pack doctor to will her to shift and mend any wounds.
She makes her shift back and we both gasp. She is beautiful but covered in blood, scars, and bruises. I never looked over her body bec I am not that kind of man to look at her 'delicates' when she doesn't want me to.
The doc gets to work as I leave her be. I tell her to tell me when she wakes.

Sheylyn's POV
I wake up at what I believe is a hospital. I am in my same old bloody clothes.
I look at the pale walls and shiver as it looks like my old home.
I start to think of a poem I once wrote:
Alone I was
On a swing set full of memories
Alone I was
On the bench too well known
Alone I was watching the clouds roll by
Alone I was
With nobody to talk to
Alone I was wishing to be beside you
Alone I was
Once again too lonely
To nobody in particular bec I've had nobody to love.
A man that's sex on a stick struts in and says "hey I'm Nash and I kinda did this to u so sorry. Um...I'm also your...a mate"
I don't register what he's saying cuz he doesn't have a shirt on. Nice 8 pack by the way.
But then slowly, very slowly I register what he's said.
Wow I can't believe the gods have given me this god. I wonder if he will reject me? I think to myself.
I mumble "are you going to reject me?"
He stares at me like I grew two and a half heads.
"No, of corse not. Why would you think that?" He almost screams.
I flinch at his tone and answer slowly "Because nobody ever loved me and nobody ever will" I quote from my 'father'
"I do" he says proudly.
I almost cry at the thought of someone loving and caring for me.
Wow, shifting and getting my mate on the same day.
This day couldn't get any better. But of corse I was wrong. The day kept getting better and better, but it all crashed down at the end of the day.
That poem is mine just saying. So not coping!! And yes I made it myself.
