Chapter 33

Sheylyn's POV

After the ceremony, everyone came into the castle and we celebrated. There was wine-which I didn't have- and there was music, dancing, and lots of congratulations. Lots.

Left and right, everywhere I went everyone was saying, "Congrats" or "Congratulations my Queen". I love my people but I need to breathe.

So I left to the bathroom. Too much people crowding me.

Even tho I was in my tiger form everyone respected me. Everyone just had to bend down to see me. But not too much since I was a fairly large tiger.

After getting a breather in the bathroom I went out only to be tackled by a little girl. "Hi Queen Sheylyn" her buck teeth were missing but she was the cutest thing in the world.

Through the link I say, Hello little one.

Since we are the King and Queen we have access to anyone's link in our land.

"My mommy says your very pretty. I hope one day I'm as pretty as you" she whistles out. Awe so adorable!!

No my dear, if you want to be pretty be yourself. Then you will truly be the fairest of them all. Don't be a copy of others, because being yourself is the most prettiest thing of all. Ok?

"Ok. What does you mean be yourself?" She asks.

You'll know soon. Just stay the pretty little girl you are now.

"Ok. Bye Queen!" She waves and runs off to her mom.

Oh my gosh she is so cute!

I walk around a little more until I grow tired. Do you know where the King is? I ask a young man.

He points to the stairs, "I saw him with a woman go up the stairs. I'm sorry" he looks down apologetically.

It takes me a second, thank you.

And I run for the stairs.

Please no. Please no. Please no. Oh Please no.

I tear open the door and run searching for Nash or anyone but find the room empty.

I turn and see my room door slightly open. Oh gods no. No. No Nono no!

I run in and see a woman facing me on my bed. Nash is beside her but facing her way. They were smiling. Holding hands. I want them dead. (Hunger games)

I rip out the most powerful growl I've ever heard or experienced. They could probably hear it in China.

They both jump and face me fear spread across their faces.

I just snear and growl lowly looking Nash directly in the eyes. My eyes are probably bright red and slits.

I growl out, "Your sick! Betrayer! Liar! Bastard! I never want to see you until you've straightened up!" And I pounce at them. They dodge and so I fly out the window.

Glass flies while I shift into a griffin. If I fly they won't be able to find me. Everyone looks outside and watches me screech and fly out of sight.

He will pay. Vengeance is a dish best served up your ass.

Nash's POV

(Before they cut the ribbon)

Once I contacted my best friend I let him inside my room and we discuss when I can purpose. We speak in whisper just in case Sheylyn hears.

I head to the bathroom and we still talk when I hear a knock on my door.

"Shhh" I say to Shawn.

I zip up my pants and open the door.

"I'll be there in a few. Just hang out on the balcony, check out how many people have attended, go occupy yourself. Ok? Ok." I then shut the door in her face.

Oops.

I make a face as I head to Shawn. "What's with the face?"

"I think I just did something I shouldn't have done."

"Deal with it later. We have got to set a date for your purpose!"

"Ok..."

I hope I didn't hurt her.

*A few ministers later*

"Ok so that's our date?" Shawn asks.

I smile, "That's our date. That's the day I'll purpose"

There was scratching at my door and I'm getting annoyed. Those dumb kids!

"What the hell is it!" I scream at those kids. I can't take it! In tiger form is Sheylyn cowering away.

"Oh baby it's you. Why did you shift?"

I couldn't hold it any longer I'm sorry.

"Oh.....ok. Come on in I'm almost ready. Don't worry we will figure something out."

She sits on the bed while I get ready and she studies me with curiosity.

"Ready to go?" I ask and she slightly nods her head. We head to the balcony and Sheylyn seems to be in the clouds. 

"Everyone! Welcome! I'm so sorry but my mate-your soon to be queen is having some difficulties. Our unborn child is too much for her human form.
But she is still here. So here I present to you: your King Nash Grier. And your Queen Sheylyn Grier. Although we are not married yet, she will have my last name. Your King and Queen!"

Everyone cheers as I get the golden scissors and She puts all her energy into making a human hand. We both cut the ribbon and everyone is cheering.

*At the ceremony celebration*

Everyone congratulates me and I search for the one person who can help me.

I find her, "Hey Shelby. Can I ask you a question?"

"Sure my King. What do you need?" She asks

"Can we talk upstairs?"

"Yup" she pops the 'p'.

We head for the stairs and I go into Sheylyn's room. I'm stressed and I need her scent to calm me.

"What is it?" She asks and faces me.

"Can you make the diamond ring for Sheylyn's like this?" I show her the drawing I drew a few months ago.

It was one large diamond in the middle shaped like a heart with a blue diamond on each side shaped as circles. The ring band was gold and in the inside said, "Forever Together"

She gasps, "It's beautiful. And yes I can make it. When do you want it done?" She asks while putting the drawing in her pocket.

"Please have it ready in two months" I whisper.

She nods and smiles. At that moment we hear the most powerful growl We've ever heard or experienced.

We both jump and face Sheylyn fear on our faces as clear as day.

She just sneers and I growls lowly looking at me directly in the eyes. Her  eyes are bright red slits.

She growls out, "Your sick! Betrayer! Liar! Bastard! I never want to see you until you've straightened up!" And she pounces at us. We dodge and she jumps through the window. I immediately look out it to see her shift into her griffin.

Everyone looks outside and watches her screech and fly out of sight and sound.

You will pay for cheating. Is the only thing I hear from her when she is out of sight.

Cheat? When did I cheat on her?
