Your name is y/n you met Susan my best friend back on set around five years ago when you were twenty and working in the special effects department you had just graduated from cosmetology school and felt like working on a set would be fun.
Now you've gotten a bit into acting I mean you always thought it was interesting but was just to scared to every try it.
Today you're going out with Susan for coffee again hopefully so she can let off some steam. Robert has been annoying her for these last few years but recently it's been getting worse
"I just don't think I can do it anymore he's driving me crazy" says Susan
"I think you should just leave him it's the same thing every week"
"You know all he ever wants from me is sex. And god forbidden I do anything without telling him ahead of time it's always where the fuck where you huh. He's probably jealous right now that I'm out to get coffee" say Susan
"That fucking dick why don't you just forget about him. How are things going with Alan anyway?"
"They're good I just I don't know if I can get a divorce that such a big thing and I'm scared" Susan
"Well you can just keep going out with Alan I mean you already slept with him. This has been going on for 2 years Exton even calls him dad sometimes what more proof do you need"
"I know, I know it's just there is a part of me that stills loves Robert and cares about him I mean I don't know what he would do without- I don't want to hurt him and our family"
"Do you love him? Are you still in love with Robert" you say
"Y/n that's not fair" Susan says
"How it's a simple question, are you still in love Robert" you ask
"Yes I love him but I hate him. I hate how he always needs someone's attention I hate that he is always the most important person in the room I just I feel like I'm just Mrs.Downey I'm not me anymore I'm not Susan" she says
"I'm sorry Susan I can understand how difficult that can be" you respond
"I'm invisible and then I always have to worry about him take care of him. Take him to therapy. Take him to his NA meetings. Then watch him flirt with everyone see how much happier he is" she starts to tear up
"Oh come on Susan don't cry. It's going to be okay" you say rubbing her back
"You know this morning we got in a fight because I don't touch him anymore he said I'm a whore and I'm probably fucking the whole block and he wishes he would have fucked his assistant when he had the chance"
"I fucking hate him, you deserve so much more he's a pig of a man" you say before you phone starts ringing
Susan looks up at you "who is it?" She says wiping away her tears
"I don't know" you say before picking it up "hello this is y/f/n y/l/n"
"Mrs.y/l/n I'm calling you to inform you, you got the part for the accountant, filming starts next week I will send you all the information"
I was shocked my first big role I couldn't believe it my thoughts were cut off by
"Mrs.y/l/n are you still there"
"Um yes sorry sounds good, thank you so much"
Susan looked at me "so who was it"
"I got the lead role for a big movie" you say
"Oh my god that's so exciting I'm so sorry for bothering you with all the bad news when does it start" she says pulling herself together
"Filming is going to start in a week I don't even know who I'm working with yet but I'm so excited" you say
"Girl go pack and text me later" she said shooing me
"Okay bye and text me if you want to do anything this weekend" you said getting up
this weekend was Susan's birthday she was turning 30 I didn't know if she was going to do anything with Robert especially with all their arguing.
"Okay sounds good" she said as I walked out the door
Back at my apartment
You got the script and were practicing your lines all night excited for Monday. i know right me excited for a Monday who would have thought.
Then I started thinking about the cast I wonder who's playing mark, hopefully he's cute he plays my love interest.
