You always told me to steer clear of boys who smelled like cigarettes, but I've always found the smell of smoke to smell like home and I think that's because dad used to smoke... and yes I know he's been gone for 4 years now, but I can still smell him on our clothes and I'm terrified to tell you this because you can either smell it to or not at all. I'm terrified that if you don't smell it, I am the only one clinging on to what's left of him and if you do, if you do mom, please, hang his picture back up.
