Chapter Twenty-Six

Eleven pushed herself up onto the counter, she wrapped the tie around her head asking for everyone to be quiet

Steve and Robin watched the store doors making sure no one was coming in, today was very slow with customers

Minutes went by, Dustin was the first to break the silence, "Do you see anything?" He asked.

Blood dripped from El's nose, "I think I see someone." She murmured, "Can you get closer?" Mike replied

"It's Eddie." She stated, though Steve was happy a small part of him wished it was Billy, judging by Max's reaction She thought the same

"Where is he?" Dustin got closer to hear her, "He's sitting down, in his home?" She wasn't sure.

"Is Billy around?" Max hoped, "I don't see him, not yet."

"Oh!" El shouted

"Is it Billy?"

"No...but it's Will." Jonathan's head turned, "Is he alright?" Eleven looked closer, "His nose is bleeding."

He put a hand on her shoulder "He's still alive right?" She smiled, "Yes."

Eleven then heard a noise, a sound too familiar from a bad experience, she anxiously turned her heard

She saw it, a large monster bigger than before, she hovered around the animal trying to find where it was

There was blood splattered on a bed, "Steve." El shivered, "What is it?" He stepped towards her.

"What does Billy's room look like?" A tear dropped behind the tie, Steve looked at Max, seeing her face even more scared

He took in air to control his breathing, Robin came to him standing close, when he started to speak, "Wait!" Eleven said

"It's the demogorgon. The demogorgon, it's missing a hand." Steve couldn't contain his small smile.

Max also showed one getting on the other side of him, El then continued,
"I see Billy!"

"Is he okay?" Max asked, "There's a claw mark across his stomach. He can barely stand." She answered

"Is he near the demogorgon?" Steve questioned, "He is. He's behind, watching."

"Is there any way you can get him away?" Robin said, "No. I've tried, there's no way to do it."

Eleven's head began to hurt, she took the tie off, rubbing her forehead, Steve rubbed her back making sure she was okay

She handed Robin her tie, "Do you think they're going to be okay?" She looked at everyone

"I hope so." Max replied, "I wish we could go get them now." Robin turned to Steve, "We work later tonight."

"Does Family Video seriously not have any more workers?" Dustin stared confused, "Only us."

"What's today? Wednesday? Who rents movies in the middle of the week?" Dustin argued

"You would be surprised." Robin said

"We also have other stuff." Steve added

"How about we make a plan?" Lucas gained everyone's attention, he gulped, "Then tonight we go."

Argyle pulled a notepad with the Surfer Boy's logo out of his pocket laying it on the counter beside Eleven

Jonathan patted his jeans, he grabbed a pen and set it down next to the notepad, "You all just carry around notepads and paper?" Nancy raised a eyebrow

"Usually, yeah." He answered with his soft voice, she opened the notepad clicking the pen.

"We're going to need fire right?" Robin hovered over Nancy's shoulder, "Gasoline too?" Eleven suggested
